Wallies and big graphics I've been working on this past year.
Some Supernatural, Sherlock, The Walking Dead and a sprinkle of Doctor Who.
Playing with colors and lights.

All wallpapers are 1600x900 except for the SPN ones which are 1440x900 and 1280x720.

First the Holiday one, where some of my fandoms gathered for the holidays and this wallpaper was the result.

( and the rest....Collapse )

Here are the drawings I made for the SPN Reverse Bang Challenge.

Over at spn_reversebang  the prompts were drawings/manips or videos and the writers then wrote something inspired by whichever prompt they selected.

When I signed up I had no idea what the hell I was doing. Then one afternoon my niece was drawing and I just sat with her and started doodling. Surprisingly something that made some kind of sense came out of that, and even more surprising a writer thought it made sense too and picked it as her prompt.

reapertownusa  is a very patient and lovely human being. I was lucky she selected my prompt. Very lucky one of my favorite writers decided to work with me.
This was my very first challenge and I've had such a blast working with her, I can't thank her enough for being so patient and inspiring me to keep drawing. Thanks girl you're the best!

To really have fun with this I recommend looking at the drawings while reading her amazing story We Start And End With Family. Her story is everything I imagined and so much more!

Wallpapers for the holidays! Ok they are not very holidy, I'm just glad I finished them.

In case you missed it, the Wolverine trailer (or a shaky cam of it), was leaked today for 5 minutes before it was yanked out of the net again.

Here it is!

You can see Sabretooth, Stryker (young version), The Blob and Gambit (whom I sort of hate in the comics but here looks decent enough).

But what is Cyclops doing in a Wolverine Origins movie?
Tim Pocock will be portraying Scott Summers this time around.  Apparently it's a young Cyke since the actor appears to be pretty young.  Interesting...  Read more here

Movie looks decent and I like Liev Schreiber as Sabretooth so I am sure it will definitely be better than X-Men 3.  Well anything is better than that!

Yep, I hate icons.  Well hate it's such a strong word, I just don't have the patience for them right now.  I start making them and wallpapers come out *shrugs*   So here are some of those instead.

Lookie a preview!

This one is not making landfall, which is of the good.  But we still don't know if the power lines will hold with the bands of rain and gusts of wind we might still get tonight *sucks*

Still we dodged a category 4... is all good.

Here's Dean (no HP relation... I think), he's small but packs a punch.

To commemorate the new season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and the ending of the first arc of the season (and the hotness of NickFury!Xander), here's a small batch of icons.

RL is crazy at the moment, not in a bad way, just busy.  Family is insane and full of issues, my niece finally got fitted with an insulin pump and we all have to learn how to use it and the summer heat is keeping me away from my computer more and more.  It's officially summer *grumbles*

But look! I made wallpaper :)    The best kind too, the kind with Ron in it!
To commemorate all the Ron angst on oncelikeshari's Without  Walls (and to kill the time between chapters) I made a wallpaper and a cover.

Couple of links that might be of interest.

I know a lot of my FList likes Net Radio stations.  Well the CRB (part of the US Copyright Office) has just approved royalty rates that will kill any small webcasters and will even hurt bigger ones like Pandora, Yahoo and AOL.  This will seriously restrict your options on the net.  So be sure to check Save Net Radio to find out how you can help out (cause this sucks on so many levels).

OK, this is the part where I gush about comics and unleash my inner geek and everyone scrolls down to the next bit ^_^
Joss Weadon (god of all things Buffy) has just come out with the first  issue of Buffy the Vampire Slayer Comic Season 8 and I'm so in love with him right now.  There was this messy break up after I saw that horrible series finale, but he's been wooing me ever since he started writing Astonishing X-Men and BtVS Season 8 is just the cherry on top.  Loved the whole thing, loved Xander (very Nick Fury), loved Buffy even, and that Dawn bit at the end was hilarious.  I missed Giles and Willow though.  If you are curious and want to find out what happened after Sunnydale went bye bye Go Read.

I want all the t-shirts on this site.  Specialy the Vader was framed and the Arkham Athletic Department ones!  Wish they had HP ones though.  I'm looking for a funny one to wear when I go buy the book/watch the movie.

Podcasts are addictive dammit, beside my HP fix (Pottercast, Mugglecast and QuaffleTalk).  I've also been listening to iFanboy, a great podcast with lots of comic book reviews, movie talk and all around funny.  The 10th Wonder recaps, reviews and speculates about the show Heroes and the Grey's Anatomy Official Podcast does the same for the GA crowd.  The New York times has a numeber of interesting podcasts but I like their Book Reviews Podcast and HBO has the Bill Maher show as a podcast too which is nice.

So, yeah, podcasts... addictive... (got any recs?)

Speaking of HBO, Rome's second and last season is coming to a close this Sunday and right after that Battlestar Galactica has it's Season Finale and we probably won't get any new episodes for like a year or something *is freaking out*  What is this poor geek supposed to watch now anyway?!
