Okay, time to change things up around here! First of all, to get this out of the way, no I am not a spammer. I am a fic journal (that occasionally fic-spams during certain holidays or under the influence of new fandom farr). I once was flocked, but now I'm...still flocked, actually. If you're actually interested in the whole story on any of this, read on!

( seventeen years is a long, long time )

To be added to the spambot:
*You'll need a LJ/IJ/DW journal; you can use OpenID with an LJ or an IJ. Why? They have a profile page that I'm going to click on. I look at post count and comment count: have some of either or both to prove you're a real person.
*Don't be a sockpuppet. In other words, if you have a completely empty journal and have never even posted a comment anywhere, I'm going to ignore your request. If this is a problem, go do something nice and leave feedback for your favorite authors.
*Bear in mind that my ability to process your request hinges entirely on how much overtime I'm doing at the moment and whether I'm having a good brain day. Sometimes I'm quick; sometimes I'm self-medicating with Ben & Jerry's and The Fifth Element.

Also, please do not ask me to personally email you old, unarchived, or unuploaded stories. If I have a choice between working, writing, editing, sleeping, and filling personal requests, I have time to do three of these things. True fact: I sleep maybe two hours a night for months on end.
