John comes from a webcomic that takes place on Earth on April 14, 2009. With all of the pop culture and movie references in Homestuck, I feel that it is important to have a 4th Wall Permission or Exclusion as part of his general permissions. It can't be helped that he does come from a canon that mentions several others, so there are going to be times that John Egbert will know your characters, especially if they are popular and/or mainstream. So please let me know if he is allowed to bring that up in conversation and/or act on that knowledge.

Now onto text permissions! Homstuck is a controversial canon with all its text. John types in a font like this. he does not use capslock unless it's IMPORTANT to. john also uses multiple ??? and !!! on occasion.If this bothers you, now is the time to speak up. Things I am willing to do to make this roleplay experience fun for the both of us are: type translations for posts and comments, respond with only voice/video, or not interact with your characters. I will not put my posts under a cut or use the courier without the color. Sorry!
