A brand-new series starts this Sunday!

What is Renew Church all about? Where are we going? And why does it matter?
Over the next four weeks, we’re diving into SENT—a series about the mission, vision, and values that shape who we are as a church and the kind of community we believe God is calling us to become.

We’ll discover what it means to live with purpose, make a difference in the people around us, and be SENT into our city with the hope of Jesus.

And this Sunday is Communion Sunday! 🫓🍷 Every first Sunday of the month, we pause to remember and reflect on the sacrifice Jesus made for us as we partake in the Lord’s Supper together.

It’s going to be a meaningful Sunday, and we’d love for you to be part of it!

In the final week of our Shadows series, we will look at one of the hardest shadows to face: despair. When life feels overwhelming, hopeless, or too heavy to carry, it can be easy to believe there’s no way forward.

But even in our darkest moments, God is still present. He meets us in the shadows and reminds us that our story isn’t over. We don’t have to walk through difficult seasons alone—we were created for community, and there is a place for you at Renew.

We’ve saved you a seat. Come as you are, bring what you’re carrying, and discover the hope we have in Jesus.

This Sunday is Baptism! 🌊

Hi there!

This Sunday, we’re continuing our Shadows series as we take a deeper look at guilt and shame. Guilt is the feeling we have when we know we’ve done something wrong, while shame tells us that there is something wrong with us. These two can shape how we see ourselves and how we approach God—but Jesus wants to bring what’s hidden into the light.

Grandparents Day Is THIS Sunday! ❤️

We’re also celebrating Grandparents Day at Renew Church, and we have a special morning planned for the whole family!

RC Kids will have a fun Grandparents Day kickoff, a bounce house, crafts, and a special gift for our grandparents.🎁 Kids, don’t forget to dress like your grandparent and come ready to have some fun!
It’s a great opportunity to celebrate the grandparents who have helped shape our families and make lasting memories together.

Bring your family, invite a friend, and come celebrate with us!

Hi there!

What if the thing you’ve been trying to hide is the very place where Jesus wants to bring you freedom?
This Sunday, we’re kicking off a brand-new series called Shadows—and I believe this is a series you won’t want to miss.

We all carry things beneath the surface: wounds, fears, unhealthy patterns, negative scripts, and struggles we don’t always know how to name. Left unaddressed, they can quietly shape the way we see ourselves, our relationships, and even our relationship with God.

But Jesus doesn’t ask us to pretend those shadows aren’t there. He invites us to bring them into the light.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll explore what it means to recognize what’s really going on beneath the surface, surrender what we’ve been carrying, experience healing, and move from striving to transformation.

And it starts this Sunday.

So don’t just make plans to come someday—make Sunday the day you start. Come expecting God to meet you in the places you may have been avoiding and to show you that your past, your patterns, and your struggles don’t get to define your future.

The shadows don’t have the final word. Jesus does.

We’ll see you Sunday!

We’re closing out our Unknown God series this Sunday with Yahweh Shalom: The Lord is Peace!

"And Gideon built an altar to the Lord there and named it Yahweh-Shalom (which means “the Lord is peace”)." Judges 6:24a

At Renew Church, we believe there’s something powerful about gathering together, lifting our voices in worship, and making space for God to speak to our hearts. No matter what season you’re walking through, there’s a place for you here.

Come worship with us, bring your family and friends, and let’s experience God’s presence together as we close out our Unknown God series!

Hi there!
What an amazing Night of Worship we had last week together! It was filled with God’s presence as we worshiped, prayed, and made space for Him to move. We had the opportunity to pray for healing over many people, believing that God is still our Healer and that He is working in every situation. It was a powerful reminder that there is nothing like gathering together as a church family and seeking God’s presence. We’re so grateful for all that God did and can’t wait to see how He continues to work at Renew!

Back to School Prayer Sunday
Back to School Prayer Sunday is a special time to pause and pray over our students, teachers, and schools as they begin a brand-new year. We’re praying for a year filled with growth, new friendships, blessing and protection for our kids to shine the light of Jesus wherever they go. Your kids will have the opportunity to come on stage during each service, where our church family will gather around them and pray over them as they begin the new school year. It’s a special moment to speak blessing, protection, wisdom, and God’s presence over their lives.

RC Kids: Timeless Series
While summer may be coming to an end, the fun at RC Kids is just getting started!
This Sunday we will continue. our Timeless series, where we’re learning about people in the Bible whose stories continue to teach us timeless truths about following God. This week, we’ll learn about the prophet Micah and discover what his story can teach us today.

Make sure you bring your Bible and come ready to learn! We’re excited to dive into God’s Word together and see what God has for us. And Elementary kids, there’s something extra exciting waiting for you this week! 🎉 The Bible Bucks Store will be open! If you’ve been saving your Bible Bucks, this is your chance to cash them in and pick out something special.

We’ll see you Sunday!

Hi there!

Back to School Sunday Was Incredible!
What an incredible Back to School Sunday at Renew Church! We loved celebrating with so many families as we helped students head back to school with confidence by providing free backpacks and haircuts.

Thanks to the generosity of our church family, we collected 303 fully stocked backpacks filled with school supplies. On Back to School Sunday, 200 backpacks were distributed directly to families in our church and a local migrant community. The remaining backpacks were delivered to 3 local schools to bless families in need throughout our city. Your generosity to Renew is the reason why we can bless our community through outreaches.
