Vicente Yanez Pinzon (1463-1514)

Potugese navigator Vicente Yanez Pinzon was the first to report observations of the Coalsack Dark Nebula in 1499, before Amerigo Vespucci and Peter Martyr gave their descriptions in 1503-4 and between 1511 and 1521, respectively.
