Haven 1 [VAST]

Haven 1 is a planned commercial space station built by VAST, which allows to extend the on-orbit duration of commercial Dragon spacecraft human spaceflight missions for up to 30 days for four astronauts.

Haven 1 is a single module station consisting of a pressurized cylinder. One end features a single docking port, while the other end has a large viewing cupola. Electric power is provided by eight deployable solar arrays.

Launch is planned for NET August 2025 on a Falcon-9 v1.2 (Block 5). The launch of a 4 person crew on the Dragon VAST-1 mission will follow soon after. The station is to have an orbital life of 3 years, after which it will be disposed of by controlled deorbiting.
