NRL-PL 137 was an experiment to study the high frequency radio propagation conducted by the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL).
It was launched as a secondary payload on an Agena-D stage, which orbited the KH-7 26 reconnaissance satellite. It appears to have remained intentionally attached to the Agena-D rocket in orbit and reentered after 5 days.
