Orbcomm-OG2 Mass Simulator 1, 2

2 Orbcomm-OG2 Mass Simulators
on ESPA stack [SpaceX]

The Orbcomm-OG2 Mass Simulators are mass models representing the Orbcomm-OG2 satellites.

For the first Orbcomm-OG2 launch, two of eight positions of the ESPA stack remained unoccupied by real OG2 satellites. Instead there are two mass models of the OG2 were mounted. These simulated payloads remained attached to the ESPA stack and the upper stage. The second stage with the attached mass models was deorbited immediatly after deploying the payloads.

For the second Orbcomm-OG2 launch, one of twelve positions of the ESPA stack remained unoccupied, so one mass models of the OG2 was mounted. Again, this simulated payload remained attached to the ESPA stack and the upper stage. It was deorbited immediatly after deploying the payloads.
