SERVIS (Space Environment Reliability Verification Integrated System) will test the usabilty of COTS elements for the use in space. The mission is financed by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), the Organization for New Energy and Industrial Technologies Development (NEDO) and the Institute for Unmanned Space Experiment Free Flyer (USEF).
