Spaceward

Spaceward were three non-seperating payloads on the second stage of the maiden flight of the Hanbit-Nano launch vehicle.

These were Brazilian technology experiments focused on navigation systems for verification and data acquisition in the flight/space environment:

  • An inertial navigation system (INS) unit from the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB / Agęncia Espacial Brasileira). This is linked to the Brazilian SNI-GNSS (Sistema de Navegaįão Inercial / GNSS) developed under an AEB technological order by companies including Concert Space, Horuseye Tech, and Cron. It is intended for use in Brazilian launch vehicles (e.g., the future Microlanįador Brasileiro/MLBR). It operated from pre-launch power-up through signal loss at ~33 seconds and performed within expectations (sensors, GNSS receiver, navigation algorithms, vibration/shock resistance).
  • A GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) unit from Castro Leite Consultoria (CLC).
  • An INS payload from CLC.

There was an additiona symbolic branding item – an empty aluminum can from South Korean company BREWGURU.

The payload was launched as one of several payloads on the maiden flight of the Hanbit-Nano rocket, but failed to reach orbit.
