STP-H11 [NASA]

The STP-H11 (Space Test Program - Houston 11) is a combo of experiments to be hosted on the International Space Station (ISS).

STP-H11 consists of x DoD SERB and NASA experiments integrated on the single platform:

  • STORIE (Storm Time O+ Ring current Imaging Evolution): A NASA mission designed to image Earth's invisible ring current and investigate the origins of mysterious charged particles in the planet's magnetic field.
  • AIMSS (Autonomous Ion Mass Spectrometer Sentry): Developed in a multi-institutional effort with Los Alamos National Laboratory and NASA, this compact instrument monitors Earth's ionosphere while also tracking ISS spacecraft charging and environmental contamination.

The STP-H11 package was launched as an external payload on the Dragon CRS-34 cargo spacecraft and is to be mounted on the Columbus Module COL-SOX site.
