I am so happy I got these! I tried several other methods of overnight heatless curls and these are the best I've tried. I've used the single thick satin type rod that you can use for unicorn or pigtails, and I struggled too much to wrap my hair around that, and my hair type (fine and thin) didn't hold the bigger curls for more than a few hours. And I tried socks and robe ties, those were not great for me either.

The pillow curls are definitely softer than velcro or hard plastic curlers, but they are of course still lumpy, I mean pretty much any curler you use is going to feel lumpy to some extent. But I sleep alright them, better than the pigtail rod method. They're easy to wrap hair around, and the curls hold most of the day for me since they're smaller and just fall out into a nice looser curl as the day goes on.

Since my hair is fine and thin, I don't brush them out like some people do, I just very lightly finger comb parts of it, otherwise I'd have no curls at all after like an hour. Hair type makes a big difference in how to style them!

I love these roller. They really work well. My hair curls in less than two hours. They are easy to use. I also sleep in them. My hair is growing more because I use these rollers more than I do my curling iron.

These curlers are nice quality. Inside each curler is a soft little pillow then two wires on the ends so that the curlers stay closed when you fold them over. The satin on the outside keeps them from getting tangled in your hair. They also come in a plastic cylinder container with a screw-top lid that is nice for storage. I have baby-fine hair that is above my shoulders. I like to add a little bit of curl to my hair to give it some movement but I'm not that handy with a curling iron and don't typically have time to curl my hair before work. So I bought these in hopes that I could add a little oomph to my hair-- I really don't want a full-on beauty pageant curl, just some texture and movement. I accomplished this with these curlers, as you see in the photo. Here's how I did it: After showering and washing my hair, I applied root volumizing spray and a little bit of mousse. I blow dried my hair until it was just slightly damp. I used only 9 curlers. Instead of placing the curler at the bottom of my hair and rolling upward, I placed the curler near my scalp and wound my hair around the curler. After 8 hours of sleep, I removed the curlers and let my hair relax while drinking coffee, getting dressed, etc. I then combed my hair with a wide-tooth comb and sprayed with dry texturizing hairspray. Complications: One of the curlers on the back of my head fell out while I was sleeping. I had to curl that part with a curling wand. I part my hair in the middle, so I like the hair that frames my face to look the same on both sides. I wasn't able to accomplish this with the curlers; they turned out looking quite different so I also had to touch these parts up with a curling wand. I'm guessing this is something that may improve with time and practice at rolling each curler uniformly. Lastly, I didn't find the curlers all that comfortable to sleep in. Not terrible, but they are noticeable. Next time I use them, I'm going to make sure I fold over the wire ends as flat against my head as possible to see if this improves the comfort. Overall, these are a very reasonably priced item for what you get and I'm glad I purchased them.

Editing to add: I've used these curlers maybe maybe 5 or 6 times now and have been happy with the results each time. But I've already had to throw 3 of them away because one of the wires (that you bend over to hold the curler in place) pulled out of the curler.

I ordered these to give my hair a break from my heated curler. I bought the black ones with the 40 count. First let me say I do not use any product on my hair other than rose hip oil. So no hair spray no mouse and so forth. I washed my hair and toweled dry my hair I used half of the curlers I ordered. I left them in for two hours. My hair on the back of my head was not fully dry but I decided to take them out anyway. The curls were beautiful without damaging my hair with heat. Today is the second day and I still have body and loose curls. I will say there would be no way that I could sleep in them. Maybe if I was younger and slept soundly every night I could. But I would not let that be a deal breaker. I would recommend these curlers and I would definitely buy them again off the experience that I have had. Don’t hesitate you won’t regret the beautiful curls these will give you.

The roller are nice and work great but small! I have medium length hair and just want weaves with the rollers and they will only give very tight curls. So that’s why I gave a three other then that they are made nice with satin material

I love these. I saw them on TikTok for women who have locs. These are my go to when I know I have a night out coming up. I wash my hair the morning before and allow my hair to mostly dry. The same night, I use the rollers to roll my mostly dry hair and by the next day, my hair is curly and ready to be styled or just unrolled. You will be surprised at how much hair each roller can actually accommodate. Their really easy to sleep in and comfortable.

So dar they are awesome! I thought they would be more flimsy but they are very sturdy and robust. The curlers dis have a bit of an industrial odor and came in a plastic tube container so no biggie, the smell is fading over a matter of a couple of days being open, the smell didn't transfer to my hair.

I bought the hot pink ones with dots because they were the least expensive ones, no other reason. And they were on sale. At first I didn't want to pay the sale price, but given how sturdy these turned out to be, it's okay.

I will plan to update after using them for some months, just in case they fall apart with gentle use. Because after all who's not gentle with hair rollers?

These definitely work well but it'd be great if there were a range of sizes.
