These walk‑talkies deliver good quality overall — clear communication, reliable range, and durable construction that holds up well during daily use. They’re dependable tools for fast‑paced work environments.

The only drawback is the clip quality. The clips tend to break easily and don’t withstand the demands of a workplace that responds to emergency situations. When you need gear that stays secure during rapid movement or high‑stress moments, the clip just doesn’t hold up.

Great walk‑talkies, but the clip design definitely needs reinforcement for emergency‑response settings.

So far so good. They look new other then the stickers on the bottom for labeling and then having no OEM packaging. One battery was mostly charged while the other needed a few hours to fully charge. They stayed 3 bars of power after being on standby and light testing for over 8 hours so the units and batteries all seem to work well. I was happy surprised they came with the charging cradle. Wish it didn't use the old style USB plug but with the cradle it doesn't matter much. I'll adjust my review if needed after I get actual use out of them. Mostly I'm in hiking groups where I'll use them. I'm expecting them to do better than the cheap ones I've borrowed from people but assume they won't be as nice as the expensive Rockie Talkie.

The open box price made these half the cost of just one Rockie Talkie. It is not clear the actual power these use. Other Motorola ones do not use the full allowed power so I assume these also do not. They should be good enough though and use more power and better sound than the cheap ones. If that's not the case I'll lower my review.

We went on a five day / four night offroading trip. The battery life lasted the full five days with moderate use. Range was great. One note, use the short range PTT button unless the other end can not hear you. The long range PTT button is located so close and is easy to hit. When pressed by the long range button is accidentally pressed, the signal over powers the other unit and the communication is unintelligible.

False advertisement, they say that it goes up to 35 miles, but it actually only reaches about 2 miles. Battery life is Mid. Don’t get this!!!

Perfect for my tool collection. No issues so far.

I recently purchased the Motorola Solutions T470 Talkabout Two-Way Radios from Amazon, and I have been thoroughly impressed with their performance. These radios are incredibly durable and well-built, making them perfect for any outdoor adventure or emergency preparedness situation.

The build quality of the T470 radios is top-notch, with a sturdy construction that feels like it can withstand any rough handling. Plus, the rechargeable batteries are a convenient feature, ensuring that we never have to worry about running out of power when we need it most.

In terms of performance, the radios offer clear communication up to 35 miles away in optimal conditions. While in suburban areas with homes all around, the quality may not be as great due to interference, once we're out in nature without buildings obstructing the signal, the clarity is fantastic.

Overall, I highly recommend the Motorola Solutions T470 Talkabout Two-Way Radios to anyone in need of reliable communication for outdoor activities or emergency situations. They're durable, well-built, and offer excellent clarity when used in the right environment.

Bought these for my mom to communicate with another person that lives close by her house. She lives in a rural area where cell phone coverage could be better. These devices work well for her, but she is not attempting to talk long distances.

They don't have the range that they say they do. My wife and I were driving half way across the US and at about 3 miles away we started losing reception

Não correspondeu minha expectativa , talvez nem seja o produto, mas a minha localização

The radios seem pretty good and they should be for the price. By law they are limited to 2 watts power so the claimed 35 mile range might work from the top of a mountain down into a valley. In reality you are good for about 1 mile on flat ground without too much brush or hills in the way. The main reason I picked the Motorola was the fact you can use AAA batteries when the rechargeble battery goes dead. Great feature when out in the bush far from any power source.

I also bought a pair of Baofeng 888 radios for $40 that use the same frequencies but are only 1/2 watt output. The Motorola radios are slightly clearer reception, slightly longer range and have a NOAA and channel scan.

Ok...

Very clear and "quiet" (as in, no interference noise). Easy to use. Seems to have lots of runtime on a charge. I am amazed at the transmit distance from deep inside a metal commercial building (think: retail big box store) to the furthest space in the parking lot. I would definitely recommend these radios.
