I am extremely happy with my purchase. It has only been a week so I have yet to encounter any battery problems like other people have noted.

I used to play lots of sports and later began bodybuilding. for at least 10 years my calves have been in pain every time I try to run, sometimes just standing at work and even laying down at night. I was very hesitant to purchase a massage gun like this because I was not sure how effective it would be. I used to use a tennis ball to try and roll out my muscles to relieve pain and it felt like i could never do enough t alleviate the pain. so out of desperation this was a last chance for me, and it paid off. Its only been one week but i have used this thing for multiple hours every single day trying to break up and clots and smooth out my muscles. Ive read reviews about it doing more harm than good, as people are more sore the next day or after using it. i figured out through my own trial and error, I used multiple heads to target trouble spots, and the key for me was leaving it in those spots that hurt until they hurt no more. I mean if you have to leave it for 2 mins on one spot thats what you should do, sometimes id have to go back in the next day in the same spot and do it again. i would flail, move around and wince like nobodys business but i can safely say that i have relieved my pain 80% or more in just one week. no more propping my leg up at night, or not being able to run or go on a treadmill.

The machine itself looks great, the bag it comes with it also nice. Ive seen a lot of other products with lots of changeable heads and it does pique my curiosity but i am happy with the ones i have. the material on the heads seem durable and easy to change, the gun itself came with a charge and charges easy. it also seems pretty well made. the only thing im not sure about is the battery life people have complained about, its only been one week so im unsure.

For many years, I've had chronic back tension, where I get these tight knots forming in various places on my back. I'm always looking for new and more effective ways to release those knots. What I've found over the years is that one of the things that works best is massage. But there's no way I can afford to pay for a professional massage on anything approaching the regular basis that I would need, not to mention the whole COVID thing making it less than ideal to go to a massage therapist. So this massage gun seemed like an interesting option.

WHAT I LIKE:

➠ Very powerful: Since I've been dealing with those knots in my back for so long, I need a ton of pressure to have any effect - and this massage gun is able to deliver that kind of power. Also, apparently the way you’re supposed to use massage guns is to not press too hard, and instead let the vibrating head do the work. The vibrations on this gun are powerful enough for that approach to be effective.

➠ With 30 different speed / intensity levels, it can deliver very granular power - so it should be good whether you need relatively light pressure, really strong pressure, or anything in between.

➠ Comes with a good range of massage heads, ranging from broad heads to narrow ones that will really dig in and target specific spots (which is great for knots). It also comes with a big, soft ball head that’s great for sensitive spots like the neck.

➠ Feels very solid and well-built.

➠ Battery powered is nice, so you don't have to fuss with a cable when using it. Battery life is excellent - I can use it for several sessions before I need to recharge it.

➠ While it is preferable to have someone else use the gun on hard-to-reach places like your back, it is possible to reach some of those spots. For example, I can reach many of the knots in my back if I maneuver the gun in the right way, holding it fairly far down the handle and really stretching my shoulders to the max. It works since, as mentioned above, you shouldn’t really be pressing too hard with the gun anyways (but rather letting the vibrations do the work).

➠ Comes with a nice semi-hard shelled carrying case.

➠ It’s not exactly whisper quiet, but it’s also not deafeningly loud. That said, if you’re using it close to your ears (e.g. on your neck) while watching TV, you may want to use earphones to hear the TV. At slower speeds, it’s fairly quiet, though.

WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED:

➠ Although the handle is quite large, and is big enough to accommodate two hands, it would be really helpful to have a second handle on top of the massage gun to allow for a better grip. This may also make it easier to get at the hard-to-reach spots.

➠ What would be awesome is to have some sort of attachment / adaptor that would allow you to mount the massage gun to a wall or hard backed chair, again to make it easier to massage your back.

➠ The battery life indicator is not super useful, in that it stays at 9/10 for a long time, then drops very quickly after that. So it’s not at all linear, and therefore hard to gauge how much longer the battery will actually last. Basically, once it drops below 9, your best bet is to just recharge it.

➠ I wish it charged by USB, which would make it compatible with a much wider range of chargers (instead of just the one it comes with).

OVERALL IMPRESSION: There are a couple of touches that could be added to this massage gun to make it totally killer, but as it is, it's a really solid product that noticeably helps with my back tension problem. I’d say it’s among the most effective tools I’ve tried for that purpose. It’s also helped tremendously with a sore neck (from giving shoulder rides to my 3-year old), and is great for simple ‘feel good’ self massages. I am very pleased with this thing, and will be using it on a very regular basis!

Update after using a couple weeks, and having a chat with support.

If the device is charged properly, I left it overnight, using the gun at lower speeds than 10 the battery appears to be lasting much longer. If you put it at full speed it will depleat faster.. to be honest im running it at under 10 and still.feels great.. I use it everyday for my plantar fasciitis.

Decided to purchase this massage gun after I saw some yoitube reviews, and saw that it had a good motor that didn't choke when you pushed it harder.

Using it with the various ends it does feel good and goes pretty deep, the motor doesn't choke, but compared to an expensive massage gun, it doesn't do as well (but also a fraction of the price). Sturdy and good build, feels high end.

My one main issue.. the battery claim is completely false.. at least on my unit.. i used it for 20 minutes at speed 20 of 30.. and the battery went down to 60%.. i continued using it for another 20 minutes and it dropped to 20%...

The battery is 2000mAh!!!! My phone has 4000mAh and does not run a motor... i was quite upset because there is definitely space to house a big battery that could last 3-4 hours..

All in all the massage gun works fine, feels good, does what it is meant to do.. but do not lie about 6-8 hours battery life even if you meant to say it was at the lowest setting.

I figure that if it chews through 80% battery in 40 minutes of use.. 5 days after I bought it.. that in six months I wont be able to get 20 minutes out of it..

Recommendation, change your 6-8 hours marketing statement... or invest in adding a larger battery.

First of all, I think it's a little early to make this review but if I don't do it, I will probably forget. So let's get to it. First of all, it look well made, the motor works very strong and quite. The battery life is really good. I do short sessions of certain part of my body and I am done. 15 min max at 2/3 times daily depending how I feel. It really relax my muscle and allows blood circulation. I work from work and when I sit long, my back feel like it would drop off. Once I use the massager, I get really better until I go back to sit for another 2 hrs, then I get that feeling again, then massage again. Anyways, over all I think its a good investment. I just hope everything last: the motor, battery and other components. I will recommend it for anyone, its a must have at home.

The only thing I will recommend for the future is having different pre-installed program button for specific part of the body. For instance, a button program for the neck area, another one for the back, for the leg and so on. Just like it has different accessories for each part of the body.

I have spent thousands of dollars over the last 10 months trying to relieve nerve pain in my neck and shoulder. Chiropractor, Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, Tens Units, and more prescriptions than I care to admit. This did more in under a minute than any of the treatments have.

The packaging was sturdy and professional. The included case is both pleasing to the eye and extremely functional. It is well padded, quality zipper, sturdy handle and professional looking all around while keeping the various heads organized and firmly held in place. I would happily leave this out to be seen.

The weight of the machine itself surprised me. It’s beefy, and speaks well to the function. It came fully charged so I immediately used it. It’s simple

to operate right out of the box.

No word of a lie, the next morning the family was practically fighting over who got to use it.

My 19 year old who does not like massage and especially massage units, exclaimed “I didn’t even know that muscle was tense!” several times and proceeded to enjoy a full back massage for the first time. My wife and I tend to steal it from each other, it’s almost become a joke in the house trying to track it down.

I have looked at many many of these products and I am so pleased with this I am going to recommend it at our Massage and Chiropractor clinic.

With 30 settings there really is a level for everyone and with multiple ‘heads’ it really does treat the whole body.

It is a bit heavy for personal use if you’re working areas like the back of the shoulder, but we haven’t had a problem so far and think that it’s more than worth it as it speaks to the quality.

I was a skeptic when we bought this, especially after seeing reviews of similar products. The lower price point also had me nervous. So very very glad I did it. In fact I honestly think the whole family is (maybe too) enthusiastic!

This product was absolutely worth the price. A physiotherapy session, which of course will be better, costs almost as much as this massager does. Putting that into perspective, having this massager to maintain your muscles, protecting yourself from injury or healing after one, will save you money and time.

It has excellent build quality and nothing on the massager feels like it was lousily designed or cheap. Its touch buttons make it very simple to use (you do not need to press them, just touch). The variety of heads allow for more specific massages and swapping between them is quick and easy. I prefer the round head for its general use but the two-pronged head for the spine is amazing.

The battery life also is wonderful. I can use this for hours at a time on max output for a few days before needing to recharge. It also comes in a convenient case if you choose to take it with you.

If you use this massager or any, expect to be sore the next day at least the first time you use it. That is perfectly normal. For the best effects, COMBINE THIS WITH STRETCHES. What works best for my strength oriented workouts is to do dynamic stretches before the workout. After my workout, I come home and have my supplements and use the massager. Once my muscles are loosened, I stretch. I have found this method to be most effective. My recovery times are much quicker and I am much more flexible.

I always prefer to review a product like this after it has seen some use and I am wholly satisfied with it.

I'm impressed to that for this price it's still going after more than 2 years

My chiropractors office recommended this Aldom Massage Gun since they use it in the clinic on their patients. It was a great price on Amazon, compared to other brands, and it is just wonderful. My wife was able to follow the simple directions, and choosing the right head attachment, for my particular aches and pains. It stops my muscle spasms and tightness immediately. I would highly recommend anyone that has sore muscles, tension and tightness, to buy this wonderful and powerful product. It is very well made and heavy duty. I am extremely pleased!

After using the ALDOM for over a month now, I feel confident that this massage gun will last the long haul, unlike other massage guns I have tried.

I should also clarify that this is from the perspective of someone using it for both recovery from a workout session (sometimes too hard), and also dealing with extended sedentary periods of activity in the workplace. I have no health problems, and specifically use this gun as a preventative measure to avoid the very real issues I see others have around me (particularly in the workplace).

The motors are a lot quieter than other guns. It is not dead silent, but operates at a quiet humming volume rather than the jackhammer/kitchen appliance noise that other guns make. The variable steps of vibration strength are broad enough that you can find the sweet spot you need without going up massive increments leaving you with a situation that might be too strong or too weak. Another nice little touch I have come to appreciate, as adjusting 1 or 2 steps during a massage (usually "down" near the end) is helping me get an even better results for recovery.

The display for settings is simple and effective. The way it displays battery life is also simple... that aspect could be better, but honestly, that would be a minor convenience. Everything that this massage gun "needs" to do, it does... and it does it very well.

The good, reliable battery life means that I am using this gun a lot more regularly than the others I have owned before, and that all comes down to the fact that it works so well.

The carry case, housing all of your gun tips/etc. is another perk, keeping everything together, and tidy.

I've tried several other massage guns that are louder than expected, come with a strange chemical smell on the massage tips (not the ALDOM), have no way of knowing the battery life until it actually dies on you, and the battery life itself magically disappears after the first couple of charges leaving you with a device that can only hold a charge for 60 seconds before dying (poor quality batteries purposely installed to force you to buy an entirely new device). This ALDOM gun looks like it is going to be the last time I have to buy a massage gun.

I got the carbon fibre looking one, but really, its the exact same gun as the plain black one... purely a cosmetic choice. Build quality of the gun itself is also very good. Very solid, with good quality plastic that does not feel like it will crack/split from use (also... other guns have felt cheap like that, but they didn't have a chance to split because the battery failed long before that could happen).

I was surprised at the quality and how quiet it was. I recently returned an $80 Boheman due to a motor that sounded a bit too harsh and like something was too loose. It also kept turning off under pressure. I did some research and found this. I wanted one above 10mm (this one is 12mm) depth since I wanted a deeper-feeling percussive massage. The surprise was that when I turned it on and applied it to my body, the intensity even at low settings was much deeper, could feel the vibration through the whole body. It was intense with a quicker sense of relief. That is something I did not expect at this price. I am comparing this to a much more expensive brand that a friend had. She is who inspired me to buy this. I was not interested in paying over $100-200 for something like this.

This massager is rugged, the motor seems strong and consistent even when you apply more pressure to your body. It make is very reliable. I haven't really had to recharge it more than once, and come to think of it, I've had this for a month and have not charged it since. Mind you, I only use it for about 20 min or less at a time. But I use it almost every day. The motor is not making any crazy sounds. The intensity just feels great and it makes it a quicker reliever of muscle tension and stress, which is what I suffer from.
