I am thrilled with my purchase of Sun Joe Shop Vac ! $69 free shipping Took couple minutes to assemble super easy I hate the car wash nasty/germy vacuums especially since COVID This shop vac has good suction and great tools Its made vacuuming my car super quick and easy , it's light weight too, easy to maneuver nice long hose and cord I used it the first day wish I'd ordered sooner

The instruction manual was all in Spanish. I speak English. This is still America. Can I get a manual in English? I actually went online and pulled up and printed out my own manual. The vacuum actually works really well. I tried out both wet and dry features. I have to say I am really pleased. Good value for the money. Just remember though you will have to pull up your own manual though.

Easy to port around but wish it was a little smaller, but that is my fault. Suction good. Doesn't contain inside removable container.

It seem alright

Thank you

I love it. It is everything thing you need. Easy to put together. Longest electric cord I have ever seen, along with the hose. I can vacuum the ceiling if I want to with no trouble. All the attachments you need. They sit on top of each wheel in there own little spot. You don't have to buy paper bags to put inside it It has its own filter.. I vacuumed up tiny little seeds off the patio tonight it was a breeze. Again I love it.

Disappointing Performance and Durability Issues

I recently purchased the Sun Joe SWD12000 12-Gallon Shop Vac, hoping for a reliable and powerful wet/dry vacuum. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory.

1. Tank Split in Half:

The most glaring issue with this vacuum is the tank durability. Shockingly, the tank split in half during normal use. This catastrophic failure not only rendered the vacuum unusable but also created a mess that I had to clean up manually. The build quality appears to be subpar, and I expected better from a product in this price range.

2. Inadequate Suction:

Despite its promising specifications (6.5 Peak HP), the suction power of the Sun Joe SWD12000 is severely lacking. It struggles to pick up even small debris effectively. Whether I used it for home cleaning or workshop tasks, I found myself frustrated by its inability to handle common messes. The detachable dust tank, which should facilitate quick cleanups, becomes irrelevant when the suction is insufficient.

3. Customer Service Woes:

When I contacted Sun Joe Customer Service, hoping for a solution or replacement, they informed me that they had no stock available for replacements. As a customer, this lack of support was frustrating and left me with a broken vacuum and no resolution.

4. Recommendation: Avoid

Based on my experience, I strongly recommend against purchasing the Sun Joe SWD12000 12-Gallon Shop Vac. Its combination of poor durability, weak suction, and unhelpful customer service makes it an unreliable choice. Instead, consider other brands or models that offer better performance and support.

If you're in the market for a wet/dry vacuum, explore alternative options that prioritize both quality and customer satisfaction.

typival sunjoe, great value for the product, works well, great accessory set and suction capability.

Need adaptor to use old style accessories.

If you’d like to adapt to the larger size hose for picking up large debris or large amounts of water you cannot use the 2 1/2 inch hose standard with most shop vacs. The hose that comes with it is very skinny and the vac port does not allow you to plug in other vacuum hoses. The replacement filters are not easy to order and replace and not found on Amazon. The suction is powerful and it is a decent size. I would say it suitable for smaller projects or vacuuming out cars etc. it does come with a lot of useful attachments. The price is really good at the shipping was fast. Good vacuum for light duty applications, but not for heavy duty or commercial applications.

Works well, isn't too heavy and has great suction.

This product has great suction. Easy to use and light.
