Product Description

The Ultimate in Legacy Vinyl Control for Digital DJs & Turntablists
The traditional feel of a turntable fused with the modern convenience your set demands. The Rane DJ Twelve is a motorized control turntable that brings a seamlessly accurate, true-vinyl performance experience to digital music software. It liberates DJs and Turntablists from the pain of damaged tonearms or needles and eliminates unwanted audio feedback, bringing sub-bass back into their music. Instantly familiar to any DJ who has played on a vinyl turntable before, but bolstered with hot-cue and track search capability at the sweep or touch of a finger – RANE’s TWELVE is the ultimate solution to take command of your next DJ performance with all the forward-thinking functionality the modern DJ has come to expect.

Official Serato Accessory
TWELVE is an official Serato Accessory, engineered for plug and play connectivity with the RANE Seventy-Two or any other Serato DJ Pro Supported hardware

Power at Your Fingertips
The heartbeat of the music finally returns to the DJs fingertips! The Twelve’s twin-torque, 12-inch motorized platter gives 3,600 ticks of resolution, per single vinyl revolution. This brings precision music file playback with previously unrealized digital performance accuracy – customizable even further with a DJ’s own choice of slipmat/butter-rug.

Ready for Anything
For too long now, Turntablists and DJs have had to compromise at live shows on their preferred levels of sub-bass frequencies, dialling it back in fear of feedback, rumble and noise. Now, with the Rane Twelve, control vinyl DJs can #ReclaimTheBass and perform their music at the full frequency range enjoyed by their fellow ‘digital’ DJs.

Reliable Performance, Night After Night!
With no tonearm or damaged/skipping needles, the Rane Twelve gifts the Pro, Club, Scratch and Battle DJ with a zero-error, secure and solid performance environment

Authentic, Tactile Control
Centre stage on TWELVE is the white acrylic control disc. This control disc significantly enhances the DJ experience, providing superior grip, resistance to warping and more consistent slip

Total Command of your Set
With 8/16/50% pitch with a precise dual-resolution detented slider, four decks of control, an ultra-convenient MIDI interface and 33 1/3 / 45 RPM platter speeds, TWELVE caters for even the most stringent of needs!

Ever since I stopped using 1200's when CD's & CDJ's came along-they were different and ok... but Never Really felt like using Real Vinyl... the thrill wasn't gone, just displaced, but now I feel Reborn on the Rane Twelve-Spinning over 30yrs from Old School Funk & Old School Hip Hop thru Everything Else.

The lag on CDJ's is gone, when you hit start that delay from some files or the rumble and dropout from spin backs too long or those controllers that make you look like a bedroom DJ, especially the one's that hide behind a facade (usually because they can't really Spin anyway). These are for Turntable Enthusiast without the tonearm without the needle skips without the rumble of being too close to a speaker and not having to buy expensive needles & stylus any more, it's a shame that Technics did't do this years ago, they dropped the ball on DJ's and Rane was smart enough to recognize what Real DJ's wanted-Hat's Off. This unit has great weight and feel to it-durable and built like a tank, like what you felt in a 12, a tad lighter but not noticeable or barely. Love the 20 second Red Light Flash when you get to the end of a song, the same way the wheel on Serato DJ Pro/Serato DJ/ScratchLive warning when it almost done-this does it right on the turntable too.

I am not paid by Amazon or Rane for my opinion. I am a Old School DJ that began on BSR Quantra 400/Technics D2 Turntables- Google

Today, i received the Rane 72 and two 12 turntables. This is exactly what I was expecting for my need, awesome combo. Hot cues , high pitch up to +-50 , fast torque, easy for the tension to be set... I tried the DDJ SX2, DDJ SZ, Numark NS7III and the S-9 with two Stanton turntables, but nothing close. If you want to learn how to scratch, this is exactly what I wanted. You don't have to bring the arm back to the beginning of the vinyl, no needles.. A must! I called Rane customer service because I didn't know how to set up the tension with their release system. They answered right away and sent me a video by e-mail. I am so happy with my purchases.

If you enjoy motion platters that are true turntabe feel, this is the unit to get. I was contemplating a purchase of a new product that was going to keep my 1200 technices in the game ...the concept of having to recharge a battery was a habit I did not want ... THE RANE TWELVE ...PLUG IT IN AN GO!

I love them but the description said white acrylic when it came with black ones. And a few months after buying they have the MKII’s. Smh! 😂 but I’m ok with my 12’s(second ver).
