Quality Stripped-down (i.e Featureless) Electric Toothbrush
Reviewed in Canada on June 3, 2023My last Oral B toothbrush provided more than a decade of quality, so another Oral B device was the no-brainer choice for me.
The Pro Limited lives up to that standard. A high-quality device featuring none of the app-control or AI enhanced features that are legion on quality electric toothbrushes, it is exactly what it is supposed to be ; a no-no sense, stripped down version of Oral B's toothbrush. Same amazing motor; same long-lasting battery, and same Oral B build quality, just without the extra electronic features. It's the equivalent of buying a "dumb TV" from the best TV manufacturer on the planet- you get all of the things that make the product amazing, but don't have to deal with all of the goofy add-ons and "enhancements". There is a time and a place for those, but I don't think a toothbrush is it.
As mentioned, the quality is high in all respects, with the exception of the travel case, which is, in grand Oral B tradition, a brick of white injection-molded plastic. The minimalist charger fits easily into my dopp bag though, so the trade-off is worth it, and there is something quaint about putting your expensive electric toothbrush inside a travel case that belongs in 1998.
All-in-all, the Oral B Pro Limited provides amazing performance and superior quality, all in a stripped-down package that removes everything that complicates the teeth-brushing process. It's the same high-end motor and battery as a lot of their higher priced models, and that is the main consideration in a brush: the motor and/or battery are what will fail, after all.
The price point is perfect for an electric toothbrush from the global leader in them, and you most definitely get more quality than you pay for.
If you don't know how to brush your teeth properly? There are how-to vids on YouTube.
Highly recommend.
Buy this toothbrush.

The Ultimate Electric Toothbrush Review
Reviewed in Canada on January 3, 2025The Ultimate Electric Toothbrush Review
What to Look For:
1. Cleaning Power: Look for toothbrushes are oscillating, rotating, or have sonic technology.
2. Battery Life: A good toothbrush should last at least a week on a single charge, assuming your brush twice a day.
3. Brush Head Options: Models that offer various brush heads that are made for sensitive teeth, whitening, or gum care, are definitely a better option.
4. Pressure Sensors: Certain models have sensors that help prevent over brushing, which can damage gums, and enamel.
5. Timers and Modes: Built in timers make sure you brush for the recommended two minutes, while different modes like “GUM Mode”, “Whitening Mode” etc., cater to specific needs.
6. Portability: A travel case, this is a definite plus for frequent travelers.
What to Watch Out For:
1. Replacement Brush Head Costs: Some models have expensive or hard-to-find brush heads.
2. Overly Complex Features: High-end models with app integration or excessive modes can be overkill for basic oral hygiene.
3. Battery Longevity: Watch for models that degrade quickly, requiring frequent recharging or eventual replacement.
This toothbrush is a great choice, here's why:
• Affordable Price: It offers excellent cleaning power at a fraction of the cost of high-end models.
• Includes 2 Brush Heads and a Travel Case: You’re set for months with replacement heads, and the travel case adds convenience.
• Simple But Effective Features: It has a built-in timer and a single cleaning mode, perfect for everyday use.
So, for anyone new to electric toothbrushes, or just looking for a budget friendly upgrade, this one is a great choice.

Can be hard to clean
Reviewed in Canada on September 17, 2026★★★★☆
Overall, I really like this toothbrush. It cleans my teeth really well and the battery lasts a good amount of time. My main issue is that there are quite a few little cracks and gaps where toothpaste and grime build up, and they can be really difficult to clean properly. Other than that, it’s been a great toothbrush and I’m happy with it.

Great as long as you don't mind the vibrating
Reviewed in Canada on October 16, 2025I haven't ever gotten a electric toothbrush that was good until this one. I'm actually really enjoying it. The built in timer letting you know every 30 seconds to switch sides along with the 2 minute timer. Really convenient & I feel like my teeth are cleaner then the manual tooth brush I've been using for years.
I'd but this again if I lost it.
The only negative was for my partner tried it once to see if she liked it & it shakes her skull to much so it's uncomfortable for her to use (like most other electronic toothbrushes) but doesn't bother me as to me that feels like it's working!

Great toothbrush
Reviewed in Canada on November 29, 2025Got it on Prime day for $60 cdn. The last one I bought over a decade ago was over $100 and did less than the Oral-B Pro Limited.
Pros:
• Good value for the price
• Simple and easy to use
• Effective oscillating/rotating brushing
Cons:
• Battery life could be better
• Lacks advanced features (pressure sensor, multiple modes) so it’s basically the pro version from over a decade ago

Overpriced and basic
Reviewed in Canada on July 19, 2025Pros:
- It works.
- It’s light.
- Travel case has adequate storage management (main body + 2 heads) and feels sturdy enough to not get crushed at the bottom of a suitcase.
Cons:
- The battery life is quite terrible so you’ll need to bring the charger for any trips longer than a couple days, and the charger doesn’t fit in the travel case.
- The glossy plastic offers little grip and feels cheap for something that normally costs $120.
- A single button is used to turn the brush on/off but also reduce the speed of the motor. Press to turn on, but hold to turn off. Single press while it’s on reduces speed. Always turns on at the max speed and there’s no way to memorize your preferred speed so if you use anything but max you just have to get used to double or triple pressing to start.
Costs way too much for what it offers, even at half price during sales. If you’re going to add multiple speeds the speed setting should be its own button, and there should be a memory function that stores the user’s preferred speed so it always starts at that speed. The battery life is so bad it makes the otherwise ok travel case feel out of place because there’s nowhere to store the bulky charging pad that the user will have to bring. The older version of this had a soft touch matte plastic that had better grip. This is marginally better than those old $20 fixed head electric toothbrushes with the AAA in the handle, but somehow I’m asked to pay $100 more for the privilege of paying every couple months to buy a new head. This should cost like $30-40 at most. Do not buy it at full price.

A Go-To Christmas Gift
Reviewed in Canada on November 9, 2025I purchased this during Amazon Prime Days at an excellent price for a Christmas gift. This is a quality product with a long life battery & different modes for effective tooth/gum cleaning. It comes with additional heads & a convenient travel case. Although I purchased this product for a gift, I have been using one myself for several months now & my dental hygienist comments on the improved health of my gums. It does really work well & clearly makes a difference in my oral health.

Minkster5 out of 5 starsCouldn't be happier.
Reviewed in the United States on September 3, 2026Works like a charm, this is the best electric toothbrush I have ever used. About 8-9 months old now and still runs like new. the only improvement I would like is a rubberized textured coating or sleeve for the body (handle) so it would easier to hang on to after a min. or so of use.

Daniel Grijalva5 out of 5 starsGreat Toothbrush
Reviewed in the United States on April 5, 2024I used to be a Sonicare devotee but since discovering OralB I won't be turning back. I enjoy the simplicity of this toothbrush and it has great battery life. Changing out the heads is a literal snap and charging is equally as easy. I like that it has multiple modes and I can reach the back of my mouth with no discomfort. These toothbrushes are so good it even has my child looking forward to brushing their teeth!

Customer from BM5 out of 5 starsGreat buy
Reviewed in the United States on August 22, 2025Great buy a bit noisy but I’ve heard worst and its really not that bad. I love that it’s portable and it holds charge for about 2 weeks so perfect for short travels or just take the charger with you which isn’t bulky either. It does provide a clean feeling after brushing and i like the individual attention given to each teeth,
