Amazing Earbuds — Totally Worth It!
Reviewed in Canada on January 13, 2026I’ve been using these Beats Bluetooth earbuds for a long time, and I’m still blown away by how good they are. The sound is rich and powerful, the noise cancellation is legit, and the battery lasts way longer than I expected. They connect to my phone instantly every single time, which makes them super convenient for daily use.
Honestly, I recommend these to anyone who wants earbuds that deliver great performance without any hassle. They’ve been an absolute game-changer for me.

Perfect shape, long lasting battery, great sound
Reviewed in Canada on August 15, 2023I love these ear buds. The sound quality is great for the price point (obviously can’t be compared to ear buds in a whole different range), the battery life and charging case are perfect and give me exactly what I need, and they fit in my ear well and are comfortable to wear for long periods.
At times, they do fall out. I’ve tried the different sizes to no avail, but I have this issue with most in-ear buds, so it must be my issue.
They fit well in my pocket or purse, noise cancelling is perfect, and the buttons do what I need them to do.

It's good but not that good
Reviewed in Canada on December 8, 2021So I had these earbuds for around 3
months and here are my thoughts.
-They pair pretty well to my android phone and they give you the info you need like battery on the buds and on the case, which I really appreciate.
-Sound quality wise they are a bit bassy but that's what you get for the beats sound signature.
-the app is okay... They give the option to toggle between modes like transparency and ANC, customize your earbuds name's and that's pretty much it and nothing more . There's no eq settings which I would honestly love but eh whatever no big problem, they are already good sounding but you know I like my customization.
-ANC and transparency mode.
ANC is acceptable, as a student I would like to have the noise of my classroom just to disappear but these they definitely block out noise from a far but they don't really cancel much if it's too loud or a bit more up close they are acceptable. They are like if you dunk your head underwater, you definitely can't hear people from a far but from up close and near you, you can definitely hear it.
Transparency mode is such a disappointment, it's just make everything sound fuzzy and you can't hear voice if someone talking to you while playing music. Which I think is what transparency mode was meant to do, to play music and hear everything around your environment but these fail at that they are just disappointing.
-other tidbits
Control is super nice, the button are tactile which honestly is better than touch control in my opinion. Of course when you press the button, you are jamming the buds deeper into your ear which did make it uncomfortable here and there
You can't really control your volume from the earbuds and you have to do it manually by your phone or smartwatch or whatever.
So yeah, thank you for reading and hope this is good enough guide for your purchasing decisions. They are really good and they might come with slight inconvenience but they are not terrible. They do the job especially for this price range

Love it!
Reviewed in Canada on July 13, 2022Great value for the price! They arrived fast as expected. Charging them was a breeze and very easy to connect to my iPhone, MacBook and iPad. What I love about these are the low profile as they don't stick out like some of the other brands out there. The noice cancelling is great along with the sound quality. The fact that the case also charges the ear buds is a great bonus! I was always afraid of losing these while cycling, but they stayed in place even when sweating! The only down side that I found was the wind noice when cycling. It's not a deal breaker by no means, but maybe I just ride too fast!

nice one
Reviewed in Canada on December 14, 2022It is my first wireless headphone. Yet I cannot compare it with other devices. I am using this for 20 days and here is my review:
+the grip is okay. they didn't dropped from my ear while doing some physical activity and for long time usage.
+i liked the noise cancelling. it was sufficient for me. / in some cases normal mod was also enough.
+EQ mid. good for people who listens different types of music.
+battery life is okay.
+sound quality is okay.
+mic tries to block noises.
+i think approximately 1.30 hour needed for full battery charge which was okay.
+type C to C charger
+easy connection.
+find my earbuds feature with iphone
-transparency is mid. near than half of the times i really understand what people were saying. i mostly get off one of them while speaking with people beside me.
-EQ mid. it may felt dull for some.
-mic is not the best thing in this set. while trying to block some noises, like wind etc., it gives your sound very low to the other people. / while ordering coffee or in public transport, it captures environmental noises like your normal vocal sound so the people you are speaking may have a hard time.
-type C to C charger
-hard to change devices. cannot use with multiple devices

Decent Earbuds with Some Issues
Reviewed in Canada on December 9, 2021Did a lot of research on various earbuds and decided to go with these. After using for a few days I think Ill be returning them because the flaws with phone functionality are too severe
Fit: a lot of reviewers said they fit better than any other earbud theyve tried. They do fit well but after being in my ears for 15-20 minutes they feel like they need to be pushed back in again. Ive tried different tip sizes and this is with the ones that feel like they fit the best.
Noise Cancellation: Not the best, and not overly noticeable compared to when nothing is active
Transparency Mode: Works well
Microphone: Have had numerous people say they cant hear or understand me when using these for phone calls and had to talk on my phone normally instead
Pairing: Very easy to use. Have connected with multiple devices and can switch between them easily. Will connect automatically when buds removed from case
Features: Can use either earbud individually which is nice. Only way to see the case battery life is by putting a battery widget on your phone and having the case lid open. Would be nice if there was a way to bring up the graphic that shows both earpods and case + their battery life like what shows up when your pairing them with your phone.
Phone: I ended several calls unintentionally while trying to push the earbuds back into my ears because the entire outside surface is a big button and a single press will hang up. Very frustrating when this happens after being on hold for 20 minutes.
Sound: Decent

Worth While Purchase
Reviewed in Canada on December 18, 2021The red color is better in person. A welcome change.
I am a hobby wood worker and wanted these as an alternative to my over the ear Bluetooth hearing protection. Which are sometimes too hot to wear. I was sceptical of the noise canceling feature for in the workshop use. But after a few days use, I would recommend them to others for the quality sound and noise protection. I tested them while thickness planing, routing, and table saw use. Actually I was amazed at how well they worked.
I found it important to try the various tips for proper fit.
The sound quality is great and I don’t see why I would need any better than these are.
I can listen to music at lower levels and still get good noise canceling.
Transparency mode works better than I expected.
On calls I found that no one knew I was using earbuds.
Takes a little getting used to the “TAP” controls. Still not really a deterrent.
Overall a good buy that I a would buy again.

All-Around Not What You Expect When Spending 200 Dollars
Reviewed in Canada on July 14, 2023As far as the sound quality goes, the earbuds are pretty good. Everything else, JESUS CHRIST. Perhaps my biggest gripe with this product was the battery life. I would come into work everyday at 9am with these earbuds fully charged and by noon they were dead. Sometimes sooner. 3 Hours? That is insane. The microphone quality is unusable. Nobody I spoke to on the phone could hear me and that was one of the main reasons I bought wireless earbuds. It got better as time went on, but for the first week or two, I had serious issues with connecting these earbuds to my phone. Last but not least, the build quality of the case is abysmal. Everytime I dropped the case, the ear buds would fly out of it and I'd have to find them on the floor. This happened at least a dozen times (I'm a klutz I know). There's no seal or safety clip that fastens the earbuds into the case. Just a very cheap magnet that holds them in place. Again, not what you expect when you spend this much money on a pair of earbuds. In conclusion, I took it as a sign that when I dropped the case again and the earbuds flew so far away that to this day I can only find one, that I should have refunded this product within a week of getting it but I decided to give it a chance. It's pretty obvious that after Apple acquired Beats that they want to run a monopoly on the wireless earbud market by forcing everyone to get AirPods for 300 dollars so even if you spend 200 dollars, the product won't be fully optimized on purpose for iOs. Maybe I got a bad batch but that's no excuse for a multi trillion dollar company. Don't recommend. Either buy AirPods or some other brand entirely.

uhgar5 out of 5 starsGets it done
Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2024The Beats Studio Buds are true wireless noise-cancelling earbuds that cater to a broad audience, including both Apple and Android users. Here's an unbiased review based on their design, sound quality, features, and value.
Design and Comfort:
The Beats Studio Buds have a compact and sleek design that makes them visually appealing and easy to carry. They come with three sizes of ear tips, allowing users to find a comfortable and secure fit. The earbuds are lightweight, which contributes to long-lasting comfort, making them suitable for extended use, whether for commuting, working out, or listening to music at home.
Sound Quality:
The sound profile of the Beats Studio Buds is bass-heavy, which is characteristic of Beats products. This makes them well-suited for genres like hip-hop, pop, and electronic music. However, some users may find that the emphasis on bass comes at the expense of mid-range clarity and treble detail. For audiophiles or those who prefer a more balanced sound, this might be a downside. Overall, the sound is energetic and immersive, which will appeal to many listeners, especially those who enjoy bass-forward audio.
Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode:
The active noise cancellation (ANC) feature in the Beats Studio Buds is effective at reducing ambient noise, particularly low-frequency sounds like the hum of an airplane or office chatter. While the ANC is good for the price, it may not be as strong as that found in higher-end models like the AirPods Pro or Sony WF-1000XM4. The transparency mode, which allows ambient sound to filter through, works well for staying aware of your surroundings, making it a practical feature for outdoor use.
Battery Life:
The battery life of the Beats Studio Buds is decent, offering up to 5 hours of playback with ANC on (8 hours with ANC off), and up to 15 additional hours from the charging case. While this is sufficient for most daily uses, some competing models offer longer battery life. The case itself is compact and easy to pocket, though it lacks wireless charging, which might be a downside for some users.
Connectivity and Features:
One of the standout features of the Beats Studio Buds is their compatibility with both Apple and Android devices, providing a seamless experience across both platforms. They support one-touch pairing, have a built-in voice assistant, and offer IPX4 water resistance, making them sweat and splash-proof. However, they lack some advanced features found in other earbuds, such as in-ear detection and customizable EQ settings.
Value for Money:
The Beats Studio Buds are priced competitively, offering good value for those looking for true wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation. They are a great option for users who prioritize style, brand recognition, and bass-heavy sound. However, if you’re looking for the absolute best ANC or the most balanced sound profile, there are other options in the market that might better suit your needs.
Conclusion:
The Beats Studio Buds are a solid choice for those who enjoy bass-centric audio and need a reliable pair of true wireless earbuds with noise cancellation. They are particularly appealing to users who value design and brand, as well as those who want a product that works well across both Apple and Android ecosystems. While they may not have all the bells and whistles of higher-end models, they offer a good balance of performance and price, making them a worthy contender in the mid-range earbud market.
