Owala water bottles for the win! These are hands-down our favorite water bottles. We have tried just about every popular brand out there—Yeti, Stanley, Hydro Flask, and others—and the Owala is the one that everyone in our family consistently reaches for.

I absolutely love the versatility of the lid. You can use the built-in straw when you want to sip, or easily flip it open and drink straight from the opening. Having both options in one bottle is incredibly convenient, especially when you're on the go.

The color combinations are also so fun! There are so many options to choose from, and the colors and designs make the bottles feel a little more personal and fun to use.

Durability is another huge selling point. These bottles get used constantly and have been dropped and knocked around, yet they hold up extremely well. They seem much less prone to denting than some of the other brands we've tried, which is especially important when they're being used by kids.

And, of course, they keep drinks really cold! We can fill them with ice and water, and they stay cold for hours. The lid also seals extremely well—we have never had an issue with them leaking in a bag.

After trying so many different water bottles, Owala is definitely the winner for our family. They're durable, versatile, attractive, keep drinks cold, and don't leak. I honestly can't think of another water bottle brand we've liked as much!

This bottle does exactly what it's supposed to do. Yes, it's small, but that's the point. There are definitely pros and cons.

The obvious downside is that I have to refill it a few times throughout the day. On the other hand, it's incredibly convenient. It's not too heavy when full, fits easily in my bag and my spin bike's water bottle holder, and the locking latch doubles as a carrying handle. I've even clip it to my fanny pack with a carabiner for hands-free trips to the gym.

It keeps drinks cold exceptionally well. I usually fill it with ice, and it lasts all day and overnight.

One unexpected benefit is that it fits perfectly in the portable "ADHD caddy" I carry from room to room, which has actually helped me stay hydrated because my water is always with me. (I wrote a separate review about that caddy if you're curious.)

If you want a bottle that travels well, doesn't leak, and keeps your drinks ice cold, this is a great choice.

I also get a ton of compliments from both men and women on the color (Pink/Purple, Darling Diva). It's a less common color. So, it's a great conversation starter at the gym especially!

I've had this water bottle for almost 2 years now and I genuinely love it!! It's the perfect size for me and fits pretty much any backpack I use, which is super convenient.

The biggest thing for me is how well it keeps my drinks cold. My water stays cold for 12+ hours, which is AMAZING, especially when I'm working long and brutal shifts 😭. I'll fill it up before work and still have ice-cold water hours later.

It's also held up really well over the time I've had it. I haven't had any major issues with it, and the 24oz size has been enough for me so far. I might get a bigger one eventually just because I drink a lot of water, but honestly, the 24oz works perfectly for me right now.

I'd definitely recommend this if you're thinking about getting one. It's lasted me almost 2 years and I'm still using it regularly, so I'd say it's worth it!

I purchased this bottle just to try out in the summer of 2023. It is now the summer of 2026 and I still use it multiple times a week (only because I now have multiple Owalas and I have just ordered my third Owala FreeSip). I have used so many cups—Stanleys, Yetis, Hydrojugs, Hydroflask, etc—and the Owala is still my favorite. Here’s my favorite things about it:

LEAKPROOF! This is the biggest one. I can throw it my bag and trust that everything will stay dry.

THE SPOUT! Hands down the best spout I’ve ever used. I love that I can sip through the straw but then close the lid and keep my straw clean and not have any spills if it tips over. And then it also gives me the option to absolutely inhale water if I’m about to shrivel up from dehydration. I think this alone is why I now own three in different sizes.

STAYS COLD! The 32 ounce holds ice for quite a while. It varies depending on how often I refill it but if I’m not constantly refilling it, it will hold ice for about 24 hours.

THE SIZES! I love the size options. My original one was a 32 ounce and is a great middle ground for me. It holds enough water that I’m not refilling it every hour but it’s not huge. It’s great for work and this bottle will be going to live at my job. I just ordered the 40 ounce for home because I want a little more volume when I’m outside gardening but I can’t say much about the 40 ounce size yet. I also have a 16 ounce (kids size) that I use when I leave the house. It fits in a lot of my bags and it’s leakproof so I always have cold water with me. It’s perfect especially since I’m on medication that causes dehydration if I’m not careful.

DISHWASHER SAFE! This one is self explanatory.

It’s amazing and I love it. There are a few cons though. The first one is that the 32 ounce doesn’t fit in my cup holder. Not a huge deal since it’s leakproof—I just keep it on the passenger seat. But Owala does have cup holder friendly options now if that’s something you want.

The bottle also does dent and scratch fairly easily. I dropped it getting out my car one day and it’s a little beat up now. Kind ugly, but it’s still my fave. It’s kinda disappointing because I have Yetis and Stanleys that have been through far worse and still look new. Just be mindful of that and baby it a little. Still 100% worth it though.

Long story short, it’s a great bottle that will keep your water cold and everything else dry. As someone who has used this bottle regularly for years, I highly recommend!

This is a really nice looking water bottle as well as super versatile, perfect for giving your child something nice to use at school. The bottle has several different uses built into one experience, you can use the built in straw or chug water if preferred from the spout, and both are accessible with the same motion. The cap secures firmly making this a spillproof bottle, and there's a convenient carrry handle that flips down to stay out of the way when not in use, locking the lid closed. The twenty-four ounce bottle fits perfectly in most backpack side pockets, so a larger version may not. Highly recommended!

I have a Stanley I use at work but I decided to hop on the owala train to see what the hype is and I totally get why people love these! The mouth piece shape is unique but it makes drinking from it so much easier and I find I drink way more water than ever at work now. It's leak proof, fits in my cupholders in the car, and dent proof (so far). It's well worth the money. I got the link because I love the girliness of the look but also I know no one else at work has that color combo. It's nice they have so many color combos so you don't mix it up as easily with others. Highly recommend joining the owala family.

I love my Owala it keeps the ice pretty cold and it does what I need it. I like that it has an optional handle, but I mostly just hold it in my arms. Absolutely loves these water bottles. Everyone in my house owns one. The only bad part is the top stops working and won't spring open anymore and the replacement one I tried getting the lock doesn't stay over the button to keep it from opening. They don't fit in most vehicles cup holders. Keeps water cold. Love the different ways to drink from it. Its metal and stays cold for a long time. Would buy again. Just wish the kids laster longer

Le bouton poussoir avec le loquet de sécurité étanche évite absolument toutes les fuites dans le sac.

Comprei essa garrafa no prime day e foi uma ótima compra. Por muita sorte a garrafa chegou sem nenhum amassado, nem arranhão. O único detalhe que pode ser um defeito é a marquinha na parte de trás da tampa, mas parece algo da fabricação, então nenhum problema. Fiquei impressionada com a qualidade da construção dela, em todos os detalhes. Realmente é totalmente diferente dessas garrafas térmicas genéricas que encontramos nas lojinhas. Tendo muito cuidado para manter ela conservada, deve durar uns bons anos. Não observei ainda quanto tempo ela mantém a água gelada, mas com certeza é suficiente para o que preciso. Além disso, o tamanho dela é bem maior do que imaginei, geralmente vejo as pessoas com a versão menor dela. Amei mais ainda esse tamanho que cabe quase 1L de água e deixa tudo mais prático. A cor dela é muito bonita mesmo, foi isso que me atraiu. Percebi também que as chinesas que imitam essa garrafa por mais que tenham muita semelhança acabam tendo detalhes diferentes, essa aqui é original mesmo.
