Fantastic moisturiser for dry sensitive skin
Immediately after applying this new, dermatologist developed face cream by Aveeno I could feel the difference in my skin’s feel and texture. It’s ideal for dry, sensitive skin as the moisturising effect is instant and long lasting. It’s fragrance free, gentle and hasn’t caused any irritation. I’ve found that you don’t need to use much as a little goes a long way. It’s a fairly thick cream but it’s light, glides on easily and absorbs well with no stickiness. I have some dark spots on my face along with lines around my eyes. This cream contains cranberry extract which is a natural alternative to retinol for sensitive skin. I haven’t had this cream long enough to comment on its effectiveness with regard to these issues but I’m hoping it reduces their appearance with continued daily use - I will report back in a few weeks. I like that it comes in a glass jar as it’s much nicer to use than a plastic one and there’s no wastage either. I think it’s going to be a welcome addition to my skincare routine.

    I really enjoyed using this product, although I do have to say the smell is a bit strong personally (but I have a keen sense of smell so it may not be obvious to others, kind of smelled a bit like those crispies cat treats). As for whether it really did act like a retinol alternative, I wouldn't have anything to compare it to but I felt that this product did keep my face moisturised very well and was good for my skin.

    Lovely face cream. I have always had dry sensitive skin and have always had to buy expensive face creams. I have been using this for about three weeks and so far so good, no dry patches. I would recommend that anyone with dry, sensitive skin try this.

It is also great as a primer for make up.

    Aveeno is one of the best ranges for sensitive skin, in my case for rosacea. I can use this range along with Elemis with no problems, Aveeno is more reasonably priced. It is also effective for everyday skin issues such as plumping, hydrating and reducing fine lines. Definitely recommend this product and the serums within this range.
