Really impressive printer and cutter. The App is quite well thought out and borders can essentially be eliminated using the slider however I would like more control in this final area before the cut. Perhaps a way to bump the cut around position wise. Reason being as the AI cutout line was slightly out of alignment on the phone. Ideally, I as well as many others would like the option of a PC application. That would make working with more intricate designs and adjustments easier and make the package even better.

The print quality is really quite astounding and the colors at least in my test came out great or true to what my screen design looks like. The test I cut was a small oval and I wanted it to be a certain size. This was so so easy (I had been curious) as the design app knows exactly how big the sticker sheet is and shows measurements. On top of this, you can resize the element using actual inch/mm values in a separate area of the app which is fantastic.

I don't understand the background removal potentially being a paid thing, seems weird. I used my own image with transparent background, and it worked very well. I was quite impressed by the print quality as the sticker is small, so was the resolution on my test so I'm genuinely impressed.

Looking forward to the strong adhesion sticker paper as this is what a lot of people want as an option. Also, they state there will be metallic and transparent sticker papers in 6 months. That would be another big selling point for this machine. Having a good selection of paper options. Permanent sticker paper. Windows & Mac applications for designing sheets.

Overall I am quite impressed by it. The only real issue I had was it seemingly lost BT connection after pairing (walked away) and managed to print two tests which used two of the few sheets I have as they became queued up. It simply began printing after reconnecting and I had no idea how to stop it.

PROS:

-Print quality is great with crisp small details.

-Easy to print up simple stickers in a specific size.

-Cuts are smooth and precise. Whole operation is quite swift.

-You CAN eliminate the auto border but it is using a slider, no other real options on the cut screen or move the cut line(s) after that.

-Strong adhesion sticker paper is in the works.

-Transparent and metallic paper should be available in 6 months they say.

-App is well thought out with a good number of tools to make the sticker(s) you want.

-Sticker material has a nice finish quality.

CONS:

-Needs PC apps too (not available yet, not sure if its planned but it needs it for ease of use).

-Die cut line screen on phone is kind of limiting and probably needs some more tools for more fine tuning.

-Background removal app option paywall in the future?? Worries a lot of buyers.

-Paper and cartridge kits are kind of pricy.

-Limited to using only Liene paper stock. (Understandable in some regards)

-Current stickers are slightly "sticky" but do not stick well for anything but mostly polished, flat surfaces.

-Not sure about cutter blade replacements in the future as it is not discussed anywhere really.

I would say it is a fantastic deal to get one on sale right now. If they deliver on the paper, app and other features to solidify the package as a whole in the near future it will be an amazing one for $299.

Super easy to use, the print quality is really good and the price is really hard to beat especially considering it’s a printer and cutter all in one.

They also aren’t lying about the stickers being waterproof. I accidentally left one in my pocket and ran one through the wash on a 1hr 40min cycle plus another hour through the dryer and the sticker was perfectly fine, It even still stuck very well!!!!

ive only had this a short time, but this is my one week in review. this thing seems to be sturdy enough to last, but this is my "so far....." review.

ive seen a lot of complaints about things i just dont see. things like it being plasticky and cheap, functionality issues, things that just did not exist in my unit, so i think they may have had beta units and this is an updated model??

first, let me say, this thing is pretty great. looks solod enough. has a good feel and heft to it. the app is SUPER intuitive and easy to use, and pretty powerful as well. the ai tools to fix your pictures work.... meh, 75-80% flawlessly, which is pretty good for ai imo. set=up was quick and easy, had it printing in minutes.

as usual, i read the negative comments before i buy something. i heard a lot of complaints about how it only works from your phone, and theres a usb plug, but it does nothing. this was a big downside for me, i hate working from a small phone screen, but to my surprise, i found THERE IS a windows (and mac, if youre a weirdo) version of the software, and you can run it from the pc with a usb cable. this was a very pleasant surprise. the app is free, i havent been asked to pay as ive seen other say, and it runs one ad on startup, thats all ive ever noticed. the image quality is easily ample for small stickers.

cons: the app. id like to see a punch out feature. there are shapes, but id like to be able to punch the shaped out, like make a picture into a star or heart shape, also, an array option, to populate a sheet with a sticker design. these things MAY be there, but i just havent found them yet.

its got a neat feature where you can save things to your app, so you can design something on the pc, then use your phone to print it out without having to transfer files between the 2. why is this in the cons section? because its functionality is sketchy at best. it works when it wants to.

id really like to see the paper at least a5 size, but its not.

switching back and forth between the sticker and photo paper is a real pain, having 2 paper tray would be lovely, but as far as i can tell, theres no way to get an extra.

the cut alignment is not always perfect. the app recommends you not go below 1mm in case the border is off, but i like to live on the edge. i go under 1mm. usually it works, sometimes it is just a bit off.

pretty minor cons list, but thats all i got. there is a promise of transparent sticker paper being available, but it kind of reads like a kickstarter vaporware promise, so im not holding my breath, but that would be a GREAT addition if they do it.

I've been using the Liene Sticker Printer for several months, and I think expectations are really important with this machine.

If you're expecting the capabilities of a desktop printer paired with a Cricut/Silhouette, or a commercial sticker cutter, this isn't that machine.

If you're looking for a compact, all-in-one sticker printer and cutter that's incredibly easy to use, I think it's excellent for the price.

What I like:

✔️ Very easy to use. The app is simple enough that I was printing and cutting stickers almost immediately.

✔️ Compact footprint. It doesn't take over your desk like a traditional printer/cutter setup. It's portable enough to move around the house if needed, although it does require a power outlet.

✔️ Excellent print quality. Colors are vibrant and true to what I see on my screen. The finished stickers look much better than I expected from a machine this size.

✔️ Water-resistant prints. Since it uses thermal transfer film instead of inkjet ink, the stickers don't smear if they get damp.

✔️ Fast. A 4×7-inch sticker sheet prints and cuts in just a couple of minutes.

✔️ No drying time. You can handle the stickers immediately after they're printed.

I've attached photos showing some planner stickers I created, along with custom desk accessories where I designed and printed the sticker graphics myself using this machine.

Things to know before buying:

• The software is intentionally basic. It works, but I feel like the hardware could do more if Liene expanded the app.

• It only performs outside contour cuts. If you're hoping to cut holes or interior shapes within a design, this machine can't do that.

• At the moment, there's only one type of sticker paper available. I'd love to see options like clear or matte finishes in the future.

• Replacement supplies are bundled. Since the printer uses a thermal film cartridge (one cartridge per paper pack), you currently purchase paper and film together. That makes sense from a technical standpoint, but I wish sticker paper could also be purchased separately because I don't use the included photo paper and now have extra photo cartridges.

Overall:

I think some reviews compare this machine to equipment that costs several times more, which isn't a fair comparison.

For its intended purpose, this machine does exactly what I wanted: it quickly produces vibrant, clean, water-resistant stickers in a very compact package with almost no learning curve.

If you enjoy planners, journals, custom labels, crafts, or making your own decorative stickers without investing in multiple machines, I would absolutely recommend it.

This is a handy and fancy little tool. It's very cool and surprisingly easy to use. The app is intuitive and spells every step out in detail. My only issue is with the quality of the stickers. Some seem to last far longer than others. Attached to this review is a picture of the back of my phone (yes, I drop it as lot) and I have two stickers. One is a sticker that has been on my phone for about a two months (Black Progress Pride cat). Compare that to one that has been on the back of my phone for about a year ,(yellow ticket). This faded sticker has only been on for 2 months and was printed using this photo sticker printer. My daughter designed it and and was hoping to sell them, but we can't at this quality.

The cord is a little short, but it connects to the app very easily. Each person that uses it will have to have the app to load or make the stickers on.

The refill packs are expensive, and the advise against using dupes, so I haven't tried yet. The paper and filter are sold in packs with enough toner for the stickers in the back. We caught the machine on sale with a bundle so that was helpful.

It's a fun machine overall, and we've had a nice time bonding making stickers.

I am crazy addicted to this machine! If you’re standing still in my house, you are likely to have me make a cute sticker to put on you! For the first two days I kind of wondered, “so this is really cool and it turns out great stickers with REALLY VIBRANT colors, but what in the world am I going to make stickers for now that I have it?” I didn’t buy it to sell stickers-I just loved the idea of personalizing my stuff! Here are a few things I’ve enjoyed making more fun/decorative with this printer…remove the dust jacket from a book or devotional you keep on your night stand or coffee table and make a nice sticker to put on the front, personalize the water bottle that you use in your bike water holder, decorate a calendar or notebook with stickers you design, label your IPad cover, your MacBook, use AI to create a characature of your daughter with her pup for a water bottle sticker, put a “Thank you” sticker inside the cover to your mailbox for the mail carrier to see, I could go on and on. The app comes with templates, or you can create your own from scratch…in 30 seconds I can get really great designs I imagine using Chat gpt, or you can drop your own photos into their collage templates for photos, print the apps pre-designed sticker sheets, make a sticker for the front of your credit card, or a gift card (fun for Christmas gift giving!) or use a separate app like Pic Collage or Canva for even more design options and upload to the app! There is a little bit of a learning curve, but it’s all apart of the fun! (PS if you’ve every forgotten to buy a sticker for your water bottle “travel” collection while visiting a city-no problem! Make one when you get home-happened to me in Lisbon!)

Excellent quality and prints! A little more than i wanted to spend but it is a very useful printer. The cuts are clean and the software/app is good. You can use your own images, it removes backgrounds and will cut to shape. Id buy the extra paper kit. You dont get many with it. I have printed mainly stickers, I dont use it for photos. It doesnt print fast it has 3 layers of colors , one color at a time printed, then goes straight to cut. If printing photo, 3 layers of colors. No cut. Over all I love it. Would recommend.

We LOVED this sticker printer...for the first year we had it, but started having nothing but issues with it since. We purchased the Liene PixCut S1 in Feb 2025 and earlier this year, after Liene changed their paper to supposedly be stickier, started having issues. Just to make clear, I did not notice any difference in the stickiness of the paper, not even slightly. What we did notice is after we were told we were getting new, improved sticker paper, the printer started giving us errors every time we used it. Sometimes it would say there was no paper, when the tray was loaded. So we'd adjust the paper in the tray and replace the tray in the printer and try again. Other times it would act as though it was trying to print pulling paper through then would give us an error that it was blocked. We'd have to open the printer, pull the paper that just fed through it and start again. We could usually get it going again, but after waisting 3-4 sometimes more pieces of paper, remind you, every time we tried to use it. Once it started doing this, it just happened more and more frequently. We bought a new package of paper thinking maybe it was just a bad batch, but after two times of ordering new paper, it still happened. Now I guess it's just clutter on the shelf collecting dust and trash can bound. For the price of the printer and giving only one year of use, definitely overpriced. I will say, it was very easy to use, images were super clean and very sharp! We're disappointed we can't use it any longer.

This thing is friggen AWESOME. I was making HD stickers within 10 minutes of its arrival. With the use of AI I can generate custom one of a kind designs and have it printed and cut within 5 minutes. Its a fun investment
