These pastels are as buttery as they can be, they blend extremely well, the colors are vivid and beautiful, and although I have not done an official piece of art on them yet, I've tested them out thoroughly, and I highly recommend. Very good quality pastels as far as I can tell. I will be starting my first official piece soon and perhaps, if it is up to speed, I'll come back and share it. 🙂

These are very soft. Maybe even too soft. It does leave crumbs, if your touch is a little heavy. But it can be smoothed out. I prefer a little creamier, which leaves less crumbs. But these are still very nice, and great value for 100 different colors.

If you are looking for pastel shades, (without having to blend with white), there are plenty included here in this set. The colors are not quite as bright as Arrtix. In comparison, these shades have a slightly darker tone. But then, this set has pastel shades that Arrtix does not. Interesting for me is my observation that I like both this Lightwish and the Arrtix sets--out of 172 colors between the two large sets, all colors are different.

Oh my mercy!! I love them. So pretty!! I love all the colors and so so smooth and creamy. They have taken my oil pastel work to another level. Can't get enough.

I have 2 other sets of oil pastels - Paul Reuben’s and artexx - but these are my favorite. I’ve purchased them for myself, as a gift, and recommended to a friend who recently purchased. They are very creamy and soft and have a great array of colors. Love them and will order again.

Very soft,like butter! Great for blending.... almost too soft but I won't go that far.

Yummy , creamy, smooth, buttery and I want the bigger set!! So awesome. These are very soft and will melt in your fingers if your hands are warm but I love them. They’re easy to blend. I prefer to use a pastel paper which has a sandy kind of a texture too. It works really nice with that I love love love these.

Love these oil pastels they are creamy with slot of colors to choose you get x-tea whites which you will need a awesome buy to use on your art work or coloring books!

These are fantastic oil pastels. Softer than Sennelier and Paul Rubens and they apply very smoothly and evenly like Mungyo and Caran d Ache, but oh so much softer. No blotchiness or uneveness. They are wonderfully opaque, with a good range of colours. I highly recommend these oil pastels to anyone interested in this medium.

J'adore ce set de pastel à l'huile! Les couleurs sont riches et très belles, très crémeuses. La superposition des couleurs n'est pas leur plus grande qualité, il est préférable de s'en servir comme couche finale. Je conseille Mungyo comme couche de fond, Sennelier en deuxième couche et Lightwish en couche finale. Mais tout dépend de votre technique. Très bon produit.
