    Great raised bed to plant specially if you have limited space. It takes time to install with manual tools but a drill can help make it faster. It came with instructions how to install. The diagram is kinda small but you can also figure it yourself like a lego.

    Once installed, it sturdy and can hold a good weight. Great buy specially the price compared to to other alternatives.

    In fact, this is my second time buying it as it just works for me and now I am growing food and will harvest soon. :)

    Going on two years with two beds and they’ve lasted very well even through our cold snowy winters. We did not treat the wood and they still are holding up great and stable. I’m going to buy two more for next Spring as they are so pretty and we are creating a new garden area in our backyard.

    My 17 year old daughter assembled them easily and had no trouble. Photo of day one this season and the end of the season.

    Let’s start with putting this thing together. There are no words on the instructions. Just pictures. Sometimes it’s clear how to proceed, sometimes it isn’t. But overall, assembly took about 45 minutes. This isn’t the highest quality wood, as I did encounter some very small cracks when tightening the screws. They didn’t get any worse and haven’t impaired the box in any way though. Before I put this together, I used some chemical-free wood sealer on every part, since I intend to grow vegetables in this box. Don’t want any harsh chemicals to seep into the soil and make my veggies inedible! It holds about 200 lbs. of dirt or enriched potting soil and does so quite well. It’s sturdier than I thought it would be. I’m currently growing some radishes, cucumbers, onions, and I plan to see how tomatoes do as well. I’ve only used about half of the existing space in the box. It has rained a couple of times since the weather has warmed up and the box had no issue with the weight of the wet soil. It’s just as sturdy as when I put it together. The only thing I would do differently is maybe raise it up about 4-6 inches. That’s just my personal preference though. Overall, this is a solid planter box for a decent price. When I was looking at this, I took the design and measurements and priced out the wood, screws, price of having the hardware store cut the wood to the desired length, and I was looking at spending over DOUBLE what this box cost. This box was around $80 and if I bought the wood and screws and did the work myself, it would’ve priced out around $190. This was at both Lowe’s and Home Depot. So I recommend this, with only one caveat: I wish it were a little taller. Other than that, great price for a quick and easy elevated planter box!

    I bought one for me then one for one of my daughters. I like these. They are good, could be a little more sturdy but as long as you do not move them with soil in it they hold up well. But for the price, it is worth is when you do not want to build it yourself. Assembly is minimal and easy.

    Missing four (4) boards for the bottom shelf storage area. So I have a partial shelf with a 4 board gap at the end. AND those boards that were provided did not fit properly and I had to drill holes. Wasn't easy to do for 73 year old woman. I'm not very happy with the amount of money I spent and to have pieces missing!! GRRR. Had I known the pieces were missing I would send it back! Please don't bother purchasing this product. While it was easy mostly to put together it defeats the whole purpose without the shelf and those missing boards.

    These boxes do the job required reasonably well. They are a bit of a pain to build, they have pieces that occasionally need sanding to fit, and they are not quite as stable as I would prefer. However, their customer service is fantastic.

    I purchased 5 boxes last year, unfortunately I only managed to get three of them put together before the end of the last growing season. This year I opened the fourth box and was dismayed to find that I had received 3 of the short upper slats and 1 of the short middle slats instead of 2 and 2. Contacted their customer service via Amazon, not expecting much as it had been nine months, but they immediately set me out a replacement.
