Deleted Scenes!
Edge of Reason was an incredibly frustrating movie for me because, on one hand, I was very happy they decided to make Daniel a major player, considering he wasn't one in the book.
On the other hand, they devoted a lot of time to screwball comedy sequences that could have been devoted to other things, like fleshing out the Mark/Bridget relationship.
While browsing Youtube today, I found some deleted scenes that are lovely and could've served this purpose hadn't they been, well, deleted:

Darcy: Not at all, they were brightened by the exercise.
Darcy: Bridget works in Publishing and used to play naked in my paddling pool.
