i'm currently obsessed with izombie (DUH) and the flash. i am super sad that justified is almost over.

i just finished rewatching the last airbender for the second time this weekend. if you haven't seen it, OMG IT IS AWESOME.

we just got back from a family trip to the arches national park in utah. it was really beautiful and loads of fun.

a few years ago i had a supernatural icon that showed sam and dean walking down a road and it looked kind of rainbowy and beautiful..sort of pinky-blue in the background. does anyone know what i mean by this icon? i can't remember who made it, and i'm trying to find that particular lj user's journal because she used to make gorgeous lotr icons. i had frodo and aragorn icons by her that were amazing...and of course i deleted them along with the spn one.

went to the josh groban concert last night

...and it was awesome. i was pretty nervous to go by myself, but it turned out to be really fun. josh was fantastic and SO cute and funny. but jeezly pete, he does have an older fan base. i think the median age was 45. there was a group of women in their 60s/70s in front of me who came from michigan to see him. but it was cool because there were also teenage girls and whole families, and tons of couples. josh apologized to all the men who'd been dragged along to the concert. :D

he sang all the songs i wanted him to sing (you raise me up, you are loved, war at home, hidden window, etc). he walked among the audience a few times and had two stages set up so he go between them and everyone got to see him. there was a 14 year old girl in the audience who sang opera and he sang a duet with her. she did a really beautiful job and josh was really impressed. <3

also, apparently there's a dress code to see josh because everyone was dressed up! all the teenagers and old ladies wanted to look pretty for him. :-P i was going to wear my invader zim shirt but at the last minute i put on a slightly "classier" t-shirt. glad i did or they might not have let me in! there were guys in ties and girls in high-heels and evening dresses. um, whut?

it was definitely a fun experience, and i would see him again if he comes back.

also, i posted doctor who/firefly fic yesterday! whoo!
