SYNOPSIS

Tiring of bachelorhood, Tony, an elderly fruit grower, sends a photograph of Joe, his foreman, to capture the heart of an attractive waitress named Amy. She falls in love with the photograph, and Tony is left out in the cold when an automobile accident prevents him from meeting her train and he sends Joe instead. Joe and Amy abandon themselves to their magnetism for each other and secretly marry, regretting their action the next morning. Three months later, able to walk again, Tony is planning to marry Amy. They tell him their secret. Furious at first, Tony orders them from the house; later he relents and forgives them, seeing that it was his fault for substituting Joe's ...
