Gaius reunites with his lover, Alice, who unbeknownst to him plots to kill Uther.
A Gaius centric episode which i found very good but not reaching the level of the 'kick ass' episodes but it had great performances and info from the Old religion and lots of magic.
In this, we see how Merlin's and Gaius' relationship is under test but of course, true friendship wins everything.
Once more, Uther is the target. Merlin making a choice for Gaius just to save Uther who hates magic? That must take lots of courage and big heart.
Merlin/Arthur few scenes show more pratArthur but caring one.

The King is close to death.
