Benedict made it onto the BAFTA 2012 Longlist in the Supporting Actor category for Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, along with his costars Colin Firth and John Hurt. Fingers crossed his name will be carried over to the Shortlist! TTSS and its cast/crew are very deservedly (IMHO) listed in pretty much any category you can fit it in, often alongside Benedict's other recent project, War Horse.

Popmatters has an interesting interview with Wreckers writer/director Dictynna Hood, with several mentions of Benedict and his character:

Director D. R. Hood and the Dramatic Poetry of 'Wreckers'

Expect some spoilers for the plot (though not in detail), and for Benedict's character, David, in particular.
