Walk for the animals - Follow-up
It turned out so much better than I ever imagined it would. Instead of just Me and Elisabeth sitting there we were joined by Her brother, his boyfriend and my boyfriend
robo_hyena. And the Portraits went over so well than near the end of the event we had a LINE!
I tried to get as many shots as I could, but I was bogged down by one person after another. Eventually Jon took over the camera work, but even he couldn't keep it up for the workload we had. (Please admire our sign. Liz and I got 1 hour of sleep before the event because of the stupid thing. =^^=)

Since the start of the event I didn't stop drawing till two hours in when Jon and Liz noticed that I could use a break. And after my ten minute food run Elizabeth jumped in to rescue me till the end of the event. =^^= She drew the dogs for the folks who got impatient and decided to leave a picture so they didn't have to stand there. I some people didn't realize that we were NOT getting paid by the humane society to be there but instead volunteering our time and resources. So they got testy with us.

Liz's Brother pettin' an adorable (and really sweet) huskie.

And this was a BIG dog!
Overall I think we did great! I lost track of how many sketches I did and we wont know till Monday, just how much we raised. But people were shoving twenty dollar bills in the donation box, so I think it should be a nice number. :)
EDIT: Got the amount! We made just over three hundred dollars for the puppies! =^^= Horray!
