[edit]From replacing 紅/红 (hóng, “red”) in 紅衛兵/红卫兵 (hóngwèibīng, “red guard”) with 綠/绿 (lǜ, “green”). From the claim that Democratic Progressive Party supporters are militant or radical like those of the Red Guards in Maoist China.
