The air is singing here, in Delft. I am more ticklish than ever and dirty plates have stacked themselves around the room, covering all those places where my wallet might be hiding. Things are teetering on the edge of destruction, oblivion or failure. They've been slowly prepped for it since last week. Everything is coming down to this day and, to be precise, the next few hours.
In about two hours, Thor will enter the pitch against villainous RC Delft - Après nous, la déluge! Excitement has taken over me since three days now and I can think of little else. The last 72 hours have felt like the last five minutes before you meet a girl you like; aware of greatness and promise but scared to death.
Off I go, kickoff is upon us. I'll see you guys in Valhalla!

EDDIT: they sucked we won so hard omfg! Unfortunately life did not freeze and wonder at the moment of our victory, life moved on and I'm munching my way through tomorrow's deadlines again. 'On the Road' is turning out to be a really good read!
