Dunfermline Abbey and Abbot House

The modern (19th Century) eastern end of Dunfermline Abbey viewed from the grounds of Dunfermline Library in the dismal and grey afternoon of 26th January, 2026. This is a very important and historic building, the oldest parts of which date from 1150AD. King Robert Bruce and Queen Margaret are interred here.
