Bias In Northwest News And Media Conference. - B.I.N.N. 2007.
Please circulate widely.
Has it ever bothered you that these issues are very absent from the front page of your local Portland, Oregon, Seattle and Olympia Washington and Pacific Northwest progressive and corporate newspapers:
News stories about Immigrant Issues
News stories about African-American People
News stories about People of Color Events and protests
News stories about Patriarchy and Sexism in Newspapers dominated by male employees
News stories about the rise in progressive media groups that objectify a woman's body in the ads they accept
News stories about Trangendered and Homosexual People
News stories about Physically and Mentally Challenged People
News stories about the injustice of Capitalism.
Then Prepare for the Bias in Northwest News and Media Conference! Its Time to create a Radical Alternative!
