ClaudeBar v0.5.23

@github-actions github-actions released this 26 Oct 03:59

What's New

Added

  • Windows reads a login from Credential Manager: a provider that finds its login in the Keychain on the Mac, as Copilot finds the GitHub CLI's, finds it in Credential Manager on Windows; a login ClaudeBar renews is saved back to its item. Mac logins are unchanged. (#641) → docs

What's New

Fixed

  • Hidden-window updates: animations and live labels stop while their window is closed and resume on reopening, including a remaining status-dot loop after the 0.5.21 fix. Sync animations respect Reduce Motion. (#643)
  • The recap's report saves: the card's share button now opens the save panel — before, on a Mac where the popover was the app's only window, nothing happened. (#637)

What's New

Fixed

  • The popover no longer pins a CPU core: with the popover open during a refresh, it could redraw nonstop and take over half a core. The header's pulsing dot no longer does that. (#643)

@github-actions github-actions released this 23 Oct 09:13

What's New

Changed

  • An app's own server on Windows: a provider reading an app's server on this machine, as Antigravity's local source does, now reads it on Windows, running no program to find it. Mac quotas are unchanged. → docs (#590)
  • A quota turns low when it will run out before it resets: with the warning on, colours and alerts follow the forecast, so a quota on pace is never marked low and the threshold setting is gone. (#613) → docs

Fixed

  • No pool line for a single login: when only one of your logins has a percent left (the other shows just a balance), the popover no longer says "62% left across 1 login"; that login's card already says it. A balance-only login is no longer counted as 100% left either. (#630)
  • Alibaba shows the Alibaba Cloud logo: the provider's card, popover and menu bar carried a question-mark placeholder; now the official mark sits on the brand-orange tile, in light and dark. (#622)

Added

  • Told when a login signs out: when a refresh finds a sign-in has ended, one notification says so with what to run, Claude · work signed out, and again only after you sign back in. Webhooks can send it too, with a new "Signed-out alerts" tick. (#621) → docs
  • Hide the notch when nothing's happening: Settings → General → When Nothing's Happening can now hide the notch instead of showing the quota, so it appears only while a session works, waits for you or just finished, or a quota runs low. (#627) → docs
  • Linux runs a CLI fetch on a pseudo-terminal: Claude's and Kimi's CLI sources and Codex's tty fallback read their screen there as the Mac does — the Mac's interactive session became one copy, and Linux answers it with a pty of its own. (#615) → docs
  • A product's logins sum to one pool: from two logins, the popover adds what its logins have left — "340% left across 3 logins". (#617) → docs
  • An empty product can rest: turn on Rest when empty per product and, while every login has run out, its pill and menu-bar readout dim with a RESTING label until a refresh shows room. Its switch stays yours. (#619) → docs
  • Recap by webhook: at the first refresh after your week turns, the weekly recap travels to your webhooks — a one-line Slack message or a full JSON body, next to your quota alerts. Same Webhooks settings, a new "Weekly recap" tick. (#620) → docs
  • Windows reads a CLI's screen: Claude's and Kimi's CLI sources and Codex's tty fallback run in a pseudo console there, typed into and rendered as on the Mac. (#625) → docs
  • Usage by project: the year's card splits usage by folder — marron 41%, api 33% — from each line's working directory. (#616) → docs
  • A local API and MCP server for agents: Settings → Local API serves your quotas read-only on 127.0.0.1:19848, so an agent can ask before a big task: will I run out, which login should I use? claude mcp add --transport http claudebar http://127.0.0.1:19848/mcp (#618) → docs
  • The recap covers months and exports as an HTML report: pick This month or Last month, and the card's share button saves the recap on screen — total, change, a bar per day, the models — as one file, light or dark in any browser. (#624) → docs

@github-actions github-actions released this 22 Oct 06:18

What's New

Changed

  • Choose the popover's usage sections: Settings → General now has a switch per section — Today, Last 30 days, Last year, Model mix, Weekly recap. Last year and Model mix start off, so the popover stays short. (#609) → docs
  • The popover stops at a comfortable height: a provider's page shows up to 560 points of cards, then scrolls, so turning on every usage section never makes it as tall as the screen; the action bar stays in view. (#608) → docs
  • Pace waits for the window to get going: in a window's first 3% (nine minutes of a 5-hour session) a quota reads no pace instead of guessing Running hot from a minute of use. (#596) → docs
  • The daily chart's chip decides all it shows — the 30-day total, the hovered day and each model; a login that prices nothing (OpenCode Go) drops Cost for tokens. (#566) → docs

Fixed

  • OpenCode daily usage showed no output and a 30-day total of 0: reasoning tokens now count as output, and the Tokens chip totals tokens rather than the (zero) cost. (#566)
  • Claude's token refresh no longer narrows your login: a renewed token asks for the scopes your login already has, not a fixed three, so it keeps every capability the old one had (e.g. user:mcp_servers). (#593) → docs
  • Antigravity's quota shows while agy is open in a terminal: ClaudeBar asks the running app, instead of failing with "Authentication required" when the agy session had started first. (#594)

Added

  • Quota cards forecast the run-out: a line under Resets in… says whether the window lasts until it refills at the pace it has been spent — Runs out in 38m — 34m before it resets, or Lasts until it resets. (#596) → docs
  • Linux builds: ClaudeBar's modules build and pass their tests on Linux, so a client there can reuse them. (#600) → docs
  • The popover shows the shape of a login's year: below the 30-day chart, Usage — last year shades a cell a day by how full it was, and Model Mix — last year shows which models you lean on, largest first. (#598) → docs
  • A weekly recap on the All page: the week across every provider — total, split by provider, top model, biggest day, cache saved — against the week before, in dollars or in tokens when a provider prices nothing. (#597) → docs
  • Webhooks: send your quota alerts to Slack or a URL you own: the same alerts this Mac shows (a quota below your percent, and if you choose, a status that got worse) are POSTed as a Slack message or a JSON body. Settings → Sync & Alerts → Webhooks. (#599) → docs

@github-actions github-actions released this 21 Oct 07:31

What's New

Fixed

  • Antigravity's Claude pool says which window it is: its quotas read "Claude 5h" and "Claude 7d" instead of "Claude" and "Claude Weekly", so two of them side by side can be told apart. (#589)

Added

  • The Notify! tile's quota windows can stay where they are: Settings → Notify! → Tile Order → Fixed positions keeps each provider's windows together and in the same place, instead of reordering the row as the percentages change. The lowest quota still colours the tile. (#589) → docs
  • Antigravity, Gemini 4 Argon: shows the separate weekly quota pool for Gemini 4 Argon (ARGON WEEKLY) when reported by Antigravity. (#591) → docs

What's New

Changed

  • Each added account shows only its own sign-in: a second account never reads this Mac's keys, logs or database, and an added Codex account now falls back to its own terminal too. (#577) → docs
  • One script engine and SQLite everywhere: provider scripts run in a bundled QuickJS instead of JavaScriptCore, and app databases through a bundled SQLite, so Windows runs them too. Mac quotas are unchanged. (#571, #570) → docs
  • Commands and scripts on Windows: providers that run a command, a script or a JSON-RPC CLI now run on Windows, on the Mac's pipe runner. An extension's script must be a .cmd, .bat or .exe there. (#580, #579) → docs

Fixed

  • An added Mistral account showed this Mac's Vibe sessions as its own: it now shows only its own web usage. (#578, #577)
  • Claude's default account honours CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR for its credentials file, as it already did for its account file. (#577)
  • OpenCode Go on OpenCode 2: without an API key, the estimate and daily cards read opencode's database directly, so OpenCode 1 and 2 both work and spend from before an upgrade still counts. (#566, #572)
  • Leaderboard provider filter: a long provider name no longer wraps inside its chip ("OpenCo / de Go"); chips stay on one line and the row scrolls, so every filter stays reachable. (#576)

Added

  • Bars on the All page: Settings → General → All Page Style prints each provider as a row with a bar per quota, ordered by the windows a provider states — most state none and read tightest first. Rings stay the default. (#575) → docs

What's New

Changed

  • One empty account no longer turns its provider DEPLETED: a provider's accounts are interchangeable, so its header, its All card and Settings read its healthiest account. Each account still shows its own status and reset. (#568, #564) → docs

Fixed

  • Windows Leaderboard days: a day of usage is counted in your own time zone, as Windows has it, instead of GMT, so in Korea a day no longer ends at 09:00. The Mac app is unchanged. (#567, #565) → docs
  • Oh My Pi, Antigravity: each card says which models it counts, Gemini or Claude & GPT, instead of "Antigravity Weekly (2)", and the pool Claude and GPT share shows once, not twice. A menu-bar pick of an Antigravity quota needs choosing again. (#562) → docs
  • Stuck on Syncing... again: stopping a CLI at its deadline no longer waits forever when the CLI is still running after being killed. ClaudeBar gives it 2 seconds, then logs a warning naming it and its process id, and moves on to the fallback. (#561, #550) -> docs
  • OpenCode daily usage: the 30 days a query kept for itself now come from the range you asked for, so an older day is counted on its own day instead of read as empty and kept that way. (#559) → docs

Added

  • Pause an account from the popover: right-click it and choose Pause. It stops refreshing, leaves the menu bar, and can no longer raise an alert, but stays on the provider's page under PAUSED with its last numbers and a Resume. (#560) → docs
  • OpenCode on the Leaderboard: tick OpenCode when you join and your daily token totals — every provider opencode drove, Zen included — are ranked, read from opencode's own database through one read-only query. Its tokens and cost also show in the daily usage cards. (#559) → docs
  • Windows file paths: shared provider definitions find app-data files on Windows as well as Mac, including redirected APPDATA and the newest IDE quota file. Windows execution and quota display remain phase 5. (#556, #555) → docs

What's New

Fixed

  • Stuck on Syncing…: a login shell that never finished, asked where a CLI is before a refresh starts it, no longer holds that refresh and every later one on Syncing…. It has 10 seconds, then ClaudeBar looks in the usual folders and logs a warning naming the shell. (#554, #550)
  • Oh My Pi, Qwen Cloud: a Qwen Cloud Token Plan signed into omp shows as Qwen Cloud, not Alibaba Token Plan, and points at omp's console cookie, the step its quota needs, instead of just "No usage reported"; Grok no longer shows as "Xai Oauth". (#553) → docs
  • Leaderboard joining: when the leaderboard key can't be stored, joining now stops and says so, instead of joining anyway and dropping out at the next launch with the username taken. (#548)

Added

  • Leaderboard, several Macs: Settings → Leaderboard → Devices lists each Mac on your name, adds one by the code it shows (Already a member? Add this Mac) and removes one; a Mac with a copied key asks what it is. (#552) → docs
  • Leaderboard, a copied key: a Mac whose leaderboard key came from another Mac (Migration Assistant, a restore) now notices and uploads nothing under it, so the two stop overwriting each other's days; the popover says why. The answer comes with the next Settings. (#549) → docs

What's New

Fixed

  • Leaderboard export: Export my data in Settings → Leaderboard saves everything the server holds about you, every day you ever uploaded and which Mac sent it, as the server sent it. Before, it saved only the last 31 days, without which Mac sent each one. (#544) → docs

Added

  • Cloudflare AI: a new provider, off by default. With a read-only API token it shows today's Workers AI neurons against the free 10k, the month's Workers AI and AI Gateway tokens, the Workers Paid overage estimate and your last invoice. (#545) → docs
