YEAH! I got around to hanging Christmas lights yesterday (or today depending on your view-its today still for me). It was so cheerful and holiday like to get them up. I really should have put them up weeks ago. Got the colored lights up around the garage (though we ended up rehanging them a bit later). Went to put up the icicle lights and decided I should check them before climbing the stool and hammering nails. It ended up being a wise decision as every other strand of icicle was out. It was very odd! Not whole sections or two or three dropping icicle sections, like every other strand. Needless to say those ended up being trashed! Now that they are there I wonder if Home Depot still recycles them? Oh well! So the grand plan to put up tons of light ended up with only the garage ones but success all the same!

It was wonderful timing as Saturday night was the Holiday/Birthday bash. Loads of fun was had with good friends coming over and spending a nice night having English Dinner and drinks. Left for work before the games came out though, so can't wait to read some other stories from last night.

Only 6- YES SIX- more days till Christmas! Yeah! Must do shopping!!!!
