slightly perturbing.
I had this nightmare a few nights back, and I still can't shake the imagery that I "saw."
It's kind of disturbing and might be triggering so just in case I'll put it behind a cut!
It's late at night and the lights are soft and kind of dim. I am slouched against the wall outside my bedroom door. The room outside my bedroom door is a large room (in real life) and it is in my dream too so there is plenty of space. I look down to see in front of me a large pad of sticky notes. There is blood on the carpet next to the stack. For some reason I am just waking up (in the dream) from being passed out or asleep or something against the wall, and I feel a pain in my left forearm area. I look down at my left forearm/wrist to see there are many, many what look like to be toothpicks in my skin, sticking out. Obviously my arm and hand are all bloody. I look to the right at my door, and see that there are tons and tons of sticky notes on the door that say "Happy Birthday" on each of them in blood. The door is almost completely covered in the sticky notes. There is a pile of the toothpicks by the door, and I look back at my arm and take out one of the toothpicks and begin to write "Happy Birthday" on a new sticky note and stick it to the door. I wake up.
I remember this nightmare crystal clear, and I just can't even begin to think of what it means! It really freaked me out! Any ideas?
