Meg is now matching tones and picking up chord tones. Learning music by osmosis is cool
Fart on a biscuit, I am not going to make it to SH. I have a head cold or a sinus infection. Primary annoyance is that I sneeze and my head implodes and when my head isn't busy imploding I have a pressure headache. I've taken some Tylenol. Let's hope it helps.
Additionally, I just generally feel like crap. Lack of sleep and crappy weak eyes which also ache aren't helping. I'm feeling a little depressed, too. This is a sign that I actually am physically ill and it's not just my imagination; since the stroke feeling depressed is consistently a harbinger of getting pretty ill. Depression being what it is, you can see how it becomes a mini vicious cycle because when I feel depressed, I'm least likely to be able to take proper care of myself and make sure that I eat and drink appropriately and take my vitamins and Crohn's meds in a timely manner.
Hot coffee has helped with the runny nose, but I really need to switch to hot tea pretty soon. Caffeine isn't great for maintain liquid levels, of course, but pretty soon I'll have drunk Far Too Much Coffee. It's also a shame that I can barely taste it since it's the Ethiopian stuff.
I'm also looking carefully at Rose for symptoms, both in order to know when she might need something for stuffy/runny nose and to see if she has anything at all. If she, my little barometer, doesn't get any signs of a head cold, then this is a sinus infection. Considering the course of the day plus Rose's behavior and lack of symptoms, I'm suspecting a developing sinus infection. SUCK. If I could just OPEN MY HEAD up, it'd go away. But pseudephedrine is not acceptable and I've got to look up guaifenesin. Also dextremethorphan.
Either way, no Silver Hammer for me. B's knee is better, but not okay - and I'd have to handle two kids, while sick, plus trying to mind a table. And that site is such that B's stuff is way far away. So both girls, by myself, trying to sell, in the weather, while painfully ill. I might end up arrested for trying to sell the girls.
You'd think that this means that I will be able to stay home. Hahaha!, my dear reader. Not so. My cousin Ashley's son is three weeks old and I haven't yet seen him. I have to go to Murfreesboro, provided that I' m correct. We'll be going by the Harvest Days nd Fiber Festival in M'boro for a little while, but I don't know how that will work out - there's a lot of educational and fun stuff for Meg to do or watch, and, of course FIBER, but I don't know how long even the wool fumes will be able to keep me there, because I'm *pretty* sure that it's outside, too.
Mind, if this *is* a head cold, all plans are moot. My happy butt will be home. I'd love to believe that I'd be in the bed, but I know better. B will want to play on the computer and I'll have to watch the girls because he won't be able to do it without being annoyed about the interruption.
Gonna go hunt down some Mucinex, now.
