I did, however, have an absolute blast playing your game! I used to be super into slendytubbies when I was a kid, so I wasn't expecting more than the original games had delivered; boy was I wrong! This shit is epic as fuck. The chase mechanic you gave Tinky Winky was thrilling with my every step being scared shitless and fearful, and the graphics + story elements are greatly appreciated. I enjoy how much is relatively intuitive regarding plot beats and what to do for the most part.

to be honest ive never played a slendytubbies game before and oh my god this was an amazing experience. the story was cool and the gameplay was fun, i enjoyed every second of it. tinky winky's mechanics were fun to learn, and the basement section genuinely creeped me out. how is this free i feel like im robbing yall, i would def pay money for this.

Ah yes; Slendytubbies. I was just a wee little lad when this came out, I watched it all the time on YT. 2019~2021 where the best years of YT gaming I will never forget how much stimulation my 7-year-old brain got from it in 2018 on my ancient Samsung with a cracked screen.
The graphics are great! I watched a few gameplay videos, and me and my friend decided to give it a try! But we can't get past a specific point, and it's closer to the beginning. When we needy to get the key from Tinky, he seems to start chasing us INSANELY early. We aren't sure why, because in other videos, it takes a little bit after leaving the pallets before he starts chasing you. at least then you can actually GET somewhere. But for us, He's chasing us immediately after leaving. Not sure if this is on purpose or not, and maybe it's just a skill issue, but we haven't been able to even grab the key.
Some tips would be greatly appreciated. because the "turning around and running" isn't working out at all.
I know nothing about Slendytubbies other than the 2012 game, which I played before this to prepare. This is a pretty cool remake of that game.
Gameplaywise it's enjoyable and a bit more varied than expected; it carries the same central idea of roaming around a map and collecting eight objects while being pursued, that Slendytubbies 2012 did (as did its predecessor Slender: The Eight Pages). But there are some cool new elements to go along with it, such as bear traps, the presence of a few smaller threats/assistances, and short segments where the gameplay is significantly altered. It's a neat time. There's also an arcade mode which evokes the original game, including a very special appearance. Though the harder difficulties of said mode expose some aggravating quirks in the enemy AI. The final part of the main game is also a bit frustrating, but I managed.
To my understanding, this game pulls a lot narratively from Slendytubbies 3, which I only know for having a shockingly expansive and insane storyline with warfare and giant mutated Teletubbies and such. So I don't really know what's going on. But I was still interested in the story and the mystery of it all; and there's apparently an official prequel game so I'll play that next.
I started off really enjoying this game, the way it was designed, the graphics, the world building, the models etc. However, towards the middle to end of the game It stopped being a horror game and instead felt a bit more like a chore to play. It became increasingly more annoying, as I stopped being as scared of Tinky since it was very predictable, but it was especially so with the ending. Its was just the same thing over and over again, which is to run across the insanely huge map and collect stuff (which usually isn't a problem but in this case it was just too long and repeated too many times).
The AI at the end was just completely weird, it would look straight ahead and somehow it would detect you even though you're on the side and not even in his flashlight view. It doesn't even matter whether or not he was looking at you or facing your way, or if you hide behind an object.
After you get detected, he just teleports to the end of the large map, and you have to slowly make your way over there as the stamina burns out really fast. If it wasn't for the fact that I've spent 1 hour already recording majority of the game I was going to call it quits as it just seemed impossible and too infuriating to beat this.
I haven't played the original that came out in 2012 but assuming that it is just a remake with updated graphics I wish they would've tried to cut out some unnecessary stuff out in order to just make the duration of the game more manageable. I finished the game confused and puzzled as the story didn't make much sense to me either.
This is just my opinion, but I don't recommend this game if you don't have a lot of patience or time as I had thought this was going to be a 30 - 50 minute game but it easily stretches over an hour to 2 hours depending on how good you are, which I hardly struggled in the beginning but somehow still managed to get a one hour 50 minute recording. (feel free to give it a shot of course but I'm warning you, the final fight is extremely difficult for no reason).
Overall I'd say that the graphics, world design, idea, and creativity behind the game is good but the game was stretched out too long.
Is this a console for cheats? Or is it just for decoration? I was boredand decided to try some console commands, but none of them work. I think the console is faulty, or are the commands only for developers?
Very high-quality, spooky, loaded with content, faithful to the original, and looks amazing! My only issue is the amount of running you have to do, it can be a little slow sometimes. But this is one of the best Slendytubby experiences out there. Couldn't recommend enough
If you were to make a sequel to this game, like say you made it a rebooted version of tubbies 2, what would it be like? Also if you did, maybe Ron and White could be the newborns in the secret layer map, it would kinda make sense sence Ron gets infected at the end of the game, or mabey if the tubbies mutated into their s2 looks Tinky Tank could have bite marks in him and a more pale zombie like face (like in the actual game) and arcade would be like the map list in s2, I know you dont have plans for it and the game is already good right now, buuuuttt, if you change your mind it would be cool
