Interview with Elena Kukanova IN ENGLISH!

Artist - Elena Kukanova

Quote from the interview:

HoM: Could it all have ended another way in The Silmarillion?

Elena Kukanova: Of course it could! If Finwë hadn’t married Indis, if Fëanor had given the Silmarills to Yavanna and hadn’t revolted against the Valar, if all Noldor princes had supported Fingolfin and hit Angband, united, if Aredhel had stayed in Gondolin and hadn’t gone wondering in the forest, or rather if Maeglin had accepted the fact that he had not been chosen, and finally, if Melkor had turned to truth after his imprisonment in Mandos… I could go on.

Though we act as we see fit, and at any particular moment we cannot act any other way.
