did they have brains or knowledge? don't make me laugh

It was seriously one of the best things of my life. Yesterday was, in fact, on of the best days ever. I had a spectacular time. YES. SPECTACULAR.

So I got up at 6:30, and bounced around like a total idiot for about 30 minutes, and then got ready to leave. M'Lissa picked me up at 8, and we ventured to the train station downtown, and since we are both train idiots, we had no idea where to go or what to do.

Memorable quotes:
"NO, IT'S A TOW ZONE!"
"I think I'm gonna call my dad and-" "What, tell him you saw 'CUNT' written in chalk on the wall?"
"WHERE'S MY SPRITE?!"
"...is that a dead bird?"

Oh, and the elevator smelled like pee.

So once we actually got on the train, it was smooth sailing. Everything was going perfect, until...

M'Lissa's soul tried to exit her body.

She got it calmed down, though, and everything was okay. So we got to Union Station and we were a little lost, and then I decided to follow the M for metro, which was a good idea. We got day passes from the machine, and M'Lissa's was cut too short (hence, it was a POOP CARD!) and it wouldn't go through the little slot on the exit gate, so we sitched off using it, and had to show it to the person in the little kiosk every time. STUPID MACHINES.

We had a bunch of time to kill before the show, so we decided to go see the ~ART MUSEUM~. It was so hoity toity. I loved it.

But M'Lissa had to stop for a snack on the way.

Pre-being eaten. It creeps me out how you can't see the top, but I digress.

So here are some pictures from the art museum, which was huuuge and fancy.

Fountain of poop?

Kindred Spirits make M'Lissa sad.

o helo GIANT columns.

So in the art museum, we decided to have lunch, which was an EIGHT DOLLAR sandwich with turkey and JAM and swiss cheese and wilted lettuce, wtf. And a THREE DOLLAR bottle of apple juice. It was crazy. And then we had gelato, which, by the way, you are not allowed to eat on the walkway conveyor belt to the east building of the art museum. So don't do it.

Some important building or something.

BUT THEN we went to the Kennedy center to see WICKED.
The Kennedy Center is also known as the building where you can't use flash because it makes all your pictures look crazy insane.

Hall of Nations.

So I bought a whole mess of crap. A hoodie and a poster, and they cost more than m life but I love them, so all is well. So we got to our seats, which were in the very last row, no joke. They were still good seats though. I saw everything happening, and it was amazing.

THE STAGE, but don't tell anyone I took these since they're illegal.

And then they hugged.

So the show was absolutely amazing. I loved it. Ask for details if you want, but all you really need to know is tha is was AMAZING.

We had planned to go to the stage door to meet the actors after the show, but we couldn't, because we had to get our asses back to the station, which was 6 metro stops away. Our train was leaving at 5:50, and we had to be there pretty soon after the show. So we got on the shuttle bus, and rode the metro hardcore. But it turns out our train was delayed for 30 minutes or so, so we bought McDonald's and magazines and sat around for a good long while. The train ride seemed to take longer going home, and also I developed a huge headache. So then we got home, and my mom was mad, not because I didn't tell her I was going to DC (tee hee), but beause of my voicemail message? I don't know. I hate that. So all in all, it was mos def the best day I've had this year. I AM SO HAPPY AND STILL TIRED AND SUCH. And I have blisters, but it's okay because I saw WICKED.
