This was neat, mostly. Cool atmosphere, reminded me of the intro cutscene for Ghost Bear's Revenge a little bit to start with. Love the terrain. Using the snow to cover up the low-poly graphics was great, better art direction than some triple-As I can name.

Some bugs and feedback, though. First, that walk speed was torturously slow - on purpose, but even then, there's a limit. The mech turned godawful sluggishly - again, on purpose, again, there's a limit. My mousemat isn't exactly massive, I couldn't turn the damn thing around more than a quarter before picking up the mouse and going again. That was annoying.

The power boxes outside the relays really needed some kind of reason to interact with them, I just thought they were map objects and walked past the first one. Went through the whole available area twice in the mech, abandoned mine to closed-off side canyon, then went around the whole chain-link fence before I tried to touch the featureless metal box. I thought 'this gate is locked' meant I had to go find a key, like in the mine, maybe.

Speaking of the relays and interaction, the simon says puzzle was. Hm. Annoying. Tiny black boxes you have no reason to hover your cursor over are not good places to put your critical interactables, especially if you don't tell the player that there's anything to look for. I went over every single box in the first relay three times before I found it, because it didn't look like anything important. I kept trying to interact with the red light instead.

The reactor instability was just irritating. Shutting down manually doesn't do anything, which I thought was the solution. If I could immediately take steps to fix it as soon as it started going wrong, that would've been nice. As it was, first time it came up I was panicking for however long it took for the vent option to come up, then the next two times I was just annoyed waiting for it. Really took me out of the - genuinely excellent so far - atmosphere. I wasn't scared, I wasn't wondering what was going on, I was impatiently waiting to get rid of the noise.

The radar seemed kinda pointless? It didn't give me a map, following it was actively counterproductive most of the time - the red dot lead me straight into a wall - and it was just kinda there. I ended up ignoring it.

At one point in the second relay, the game got suddenly brighter and stayed that way for the rest of the game. No idea why. Good luck finding that bug.

Speaking of bugs, every so often the game would randomly get much louder for like a quarter second, then reset. I was playing on about 73, 74% volume, if that helps?

What was the dead guy on the last relay station there for? Guy just keeled over and froze, then we move on with no explanation.

I was looking through the elevator doors as they closed when going down at the last bunker, which meant I could see the mech despawn before the doors were halfway closed. That was funny as hell.

The ending was. Uh. There was flesh all of a sudden? I guess? Cool story, bro. Meat noises were sufficiently gross to fulfil that role, which was neat, but there wasn't really any buildup, just sudden meat. And eyes. I wasn't expecting it, which is something, I suppose, but I also wasn't, like, interested in it? There's flesh now. Okay. Moving on.

Cool game, don't regret playing it. Wouldn't play it again though.
