Why is America in Iraq? It may be true that Saddam was a dictator who killed and tourcherd his own people. But the people of Iraq are still dying. The only difference is that Saddam isn't doing it, the USA is. So are the number of people dying now by American hands equivolent to the people who were dying by the hand of Saddam? If not, then do the Americans who are dying in iraq make up for the difference?

Like a bunch of paranoid tweakers they used to think that maybe Iraq was a threat to America, but they weren't sure. If the goal was to remove the mystery then America succeded, because I can pretty much garentee that they are a threat to us now.

Now America is the Tyrant.

My sister got engaged today. Her feance was in iraq a few months ago. When I see American soldiers hanging from street posts, there lifeless body's so burnt that they can no longer be identified, it scares the living shit out of me to think that could be Andy, my friends, or even me.

Andy goes back to Iraq in a few months. He will be there for over a year. That is unless they decide to keep him longer.

Now they might bring the draft into effect.

I WILL NOT FIGHT IN IRAQ because I won't fight for a cause that isn't clear to me. I won't fight for people who do not want me to fight for them. Most importantly I will not kill inoccent people. Defending our own country when it is under attack is one thing. But what are we defending in Iraq? As far as I can tell we are trying to free people from a brutal dictatorship. Lets think about that for a minute. If you lived in a country where the penalty for stealing is getting your hand chopped off and your friends and family were torcherd for minor infractions would you want someone to change that?

So if we don't go to war than people suffer, but if we do, then people suffer anyway. But that's looking at the bigger picture. Let's look at the smaller one.

If you were in Iraq amongst the dead bodies, knowing that at any second those dead bodies could be you and your friends. Would you know why you were there?, and would you care?

God bless Canada

You guys, seriously, lets all get together and fucking move to Canada.

I decided that I'm voting for Kerry. Because if we vote for him, at least there will be alot of pressure on him to do something about this whole mess in Iraq. I'm afraid that if Bush wins he will think that he is doing a good job and it will juse be more of the same.
