My life couldnât have been more perfect. A handsome fiancÃĐ. My dream career. My familyâs beautiful estate. I shouldâve known it was too good to be true.
When an old diary resurfaces, it reveals a scandal buried for over a century and destroys everything I thought I knew. Thanks to the biggest royal disgrace of the nineteenth century, Iâm not just nobility.
Iâm the rightful queen of Wesbourne.
On paper, it sounds like a fairytale upgrade. Money. Power. Fame. And the chance to make a difference in the country I adore. All I have to do is give up the life Iâve built and the man I love.
Oh, and one other small thing. I'll have to marry the crown prince.
Yes, heâs gorgeous and charming and his voice makes your body sing. Everyone thinks Iâm crazy for hesitating. But they donât know him like I do. They donât know that he destroyed me last time.
If I say no, this country will crash and burn in a civil war, and Iâll be responsible. But if I say yes, he will annihilate whatâs left of my heart.

Jessica Jude has outdone herself with this trilogy. Following Celia and Henry's journey was definitely an emotional roller-coaster, from page 1 of book 1 straight through to the end of book 3. Thank you for the early copy and the opportunity to be a part of this journey.

This series was good, I got it early as an ARC read. Very aggravating since they were both buttheads at some point but it all worked out eventually ðŦ ðĪ
