I have used quite a few products from this brand that have been extremely helpful. I love clay masks as a special self care treat for myself but have never haf a cleanser mask that is meant to foam or wash too. My skin doesn't need a mask or a cleanser at the same time often but when I want or need a mask I want a high quality experience. I focus on my nose and cheeks where I still have some larger pores. I struggle to find a mask that feels good, works well and has a good aroma without flaring my skin. I was looking forward to trying this mask as I really wanted a new clay mask and I love true matcha. This smells light and amazing. Earthy, delicious and spa like over sweet or or milky matcha. I have had tubs and tubes of clay and I admit this format is a favorite. I appreciate the spatula being included. This tool worked exceptionally well to glide a smooth even coat of clay mask. Very mess free, and the tool is easy to hold and to clean. The tube works well with fingers or the spatula for covering my face. Only a small amount covered my concern area perfectly. I didn't do a small patch test on my hand and went right to using this as I already use much of this brand and felt confident. I didn't need a huge amount to cover, but I felt there was plenty if I wanted to do a thicker application. As a cleanser not much is needed. The clay is soft, smooth and creamy with a slight texture or grit that was not bothersome or exfoliating like to wash off. The mask wasn't tough or putty nor soapy like a cream cleanser to spread at all. Also I think it was sensory wise this was refreshing, tightening and my cheeks did flare slightly after removing. My face felt very clean and comfortable even with the reddness. I expected it to as most dense clays do that. Drying was comfortable and very speedy. I didn't have to check a bunch of times to find a wet patch. I think washing off was much easier than I expected too. The dried and washed off mask did not leave me feeling overly dry and tight skinned but I did feel this sensation. I followed with more intense hydrating routine products. I have normal or combination skin that is sensitive and dry in the winter. I have redness on my cheeks, chin, forehead and below neck. Technically red on my nose and darker freckles on my nose. I have stubborn large pores on my nose end and in the area of my cheek under my glasses. My skin is very sensitive to clays so I'm picky when they are fragrance filled. I think this was fantastic with reasonable ingredients. The price is very typical of the brand. I will buy this regularly to use. I really really liked this mask cleanser. I'm not a sweet aroma person so I love that this was just mild matcha in a mask.

I think they don't just focus on the "glass skin" Korean ideal. For me as an older Millennial, I'm not really searching for the shiny glass skin look, but rather a healthy barrier that's strong and resilient enough to use absorb great actives without issues. This cleanser and mask combo is a nice product for me. I’m someone who enjoys exfoliation, but I’ve definitely overdone it in my past, so now I’m careful about anything that promises pore clearing or resurfacing.
Over time I’ve become a skincare formula Sherlock Holmes. Yes, of course, I always patch test, but sometimes what behaves on a small patch doesn’t behave the same across my whole face. So now I analyze formulas before I commit, making sure the exfoliating agents are balanced with calming ingredients. This mask‑cleanser combo passes that test and lemme tell you, most don't.
I use this once a week in the shower as a quick pore reset. The steam softens my skin, the clays activate beautifully, and the rinse‑off is smooth and comfortable. Once I add water and massage, it turns into a full cleanser, so I don’t need to double cleanse unless I’m wearing a lot of sunscreen. My face feels clean, my pores look unclogged and smaller, especially on my nose and forehead (which are my problem areas for large pores). The key thing is that I don't get ANY redness or irritation.

This formula is built around a set of actives that keep the exfoliation extremely gentle while layering in calming, soothing, and pore‑refining benefits. Here're some highlights.

- CAPRYLOYL SALICYLIC ACID ➜ a very mild, slow‑penetrating chemical exfoliant that smooths texture and helps keep pores clear while staying friendly to sensitive skin.
- CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF WATER / CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT / CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF POWDER ➜ antioxidant‑rich (yay!) and soothing, this trio reduces redness and keeps the exfoliation step from triggering inflammation. Calming inflammation as part of exfoliation is super important.

This mask comes in well branded and properly marked box with a cellophane circle seal. The mask is in a shower friendly tube with a flip‑top cap, and the opening is protected with a full foil seal, which I always look for because it means my skincare hasn’t been opened or tested before I get it. This also includes a good, branded silicone mask applicator, shaped like a spade. The applicator spreads the clay in a thin, even layer, and keeps my hands and the tube clean. Makes the whole experience feel a little indulgent in the best way.
➡️ WHO MIGHT NOT LOVE THIS OR NEED A DIFFERENT PRODUCT
Although I love this, this isn't going to be perfect for everyone. If you get this, I hope you love it, but maybe think twice if you're looking for a strong exfoliation. The exfoliation on this is really gentle, so if you need or want higher strength BHA, AHA, or more aggressive clay action, this might feel underwhelming. If you have oily skin and are looking for a really deep exfoliation, this may not meet your expectations. On the flip side, I also think this won’t be the right fit for anyone with a highly compromised barrier, especially if you have inflamed, cystic, or deep nodular acne, because this again may be too gentle. This is best to clear up mild congestion rather than treating active inflammatory stuff. The bottom line is that this is formulated as a sort of balanced maintenance, not heavy‑duty resurfacing or intensive acne treatment.
💗 OVERALL, FAVE PRODUCT FOR TO KEEP MY PORES CLEAR AND MY FACE READY TO ABSORB SERUM ACTIVES
This is one of my fave weekend reset skincare products. It has that rare balance of being effective, gentle, and calming all at once. It clears my pores without irritating them, it exfoliates without overdoing it, and it leaves my skin feeling soft, clean and comfortable every single time. Importantly, it makes the rest of my skincare work better. It smells nice and makes me feel a little spa moment when I use it. For someone who has to be careful with exfoliation, but still loves exfoliation, this is a great find.

I use it before showering, which makes the recommended 3-5 minute wait easy. It dispenses as a pale green, dense foam that spreads thickly over the skin. It feels much easier to handle than a more traditional clay mask, but it still has that clay-based body and coverage.
It sits comfortably on my skin during the wait time. It does not feel like it is just sitting there doing nothing, though. The clay component feels meaningful, especially for oil and pore care. The Korean ingredient panel gives more detail than the English one, listing bentonite at 6%, kaolin at 6%, and hectorite at 2%. It also lists green tea leaf water at 9,563 ppm and green tea extract at 700 ppm, so I read this mostly as a real clay-based formula with matcha/green tea as a supporting theme.
Once water is added, it lathers well and rinses better than a regular clay mask. It still takes more than a quick splash to remove completely, but that is expected for a clay-based product. In the shower, I do not find the rinse-off process difficult. The squeaky-clean feel is a useful signal that the rinse is finished.
After drying, my skin settles into a smooth finish. This is definitely a deeper-cleansing product, so I think it is best for people who already like clay cleansers or clay masks. For my oily skin and hot climate, it fits very well.
This performs exactly the way I hoped. It is easy to apply, comfortable while it sits, practical to rinse in the shower, and more convenient than a traditional clay mask.

I have sensitive skin and mild rosacea, and the ingredient list made me leery of this product. It includes fragrance and potassium hydroxide (lye), which makes this pretty much a no-go for me.
I had my daughter, who is in her early 20s and does not have sensitive skin, try it instead. She liked it. She has oily skin, and she felt like this cleaned her skin throughly and helped clear her pores without stripping her skin. She said her skin felt a little tight after using this, but not much. She did not experience any irritation from this product.
This product is interesting, because it combines a cleanser with a mask. That appealed to my daughter as well. She liked that it came with a spatula to help distribute the product over her face, and it was easy to get the product out of the tube. The tube is a good size, so I do think this product offers good value for the money, especially with it being from a well-known and trusted K-beauty brand.
