an american photographer named Erin travels 🛩️ to Africa for a personal project, capturing unique photos for a new collection. as the trip nears its end, he begins to write letters ✉️ to his wife, reflecting on his journey and experiences. on the last day, he sits by a river 🏞️ to meditate, but a strong wind 💨 blows away the letters. Erin quickly gathers what he can and begins rewriting the lost parts, determined to share his story with his wife. in his letters, Erin reflects on the unique people he meets across the land. he observes animals in their natural habitat, attends classes in local schools 📚 , and helps feed children in nearby villages.

Erin’s letters 📃 & film 🎞️ photos are available on instagram now!

my short film concept, "Memories With A Geisha." this project is a personal tribute to one of my favorite films, "Memoirs of a Geisha," and reflects the deep connection i feel to its beautiful and captivating love story. 🩷🩵 the original idea for this concept was completely different, but i chose to create something that feels more personal and authentic to me. music produced and composed by me. 🎼🎧

Who Are They? Tadashi’s childhood home in Kyoto was nestled between two old temples, a place filled with the scent of cedar and his father's patient lessons on woodworking. This peaceful world was shattered when his father died, leaving Tadashi to fend for himself as just a boy. The craftsmanship he learned was a foundation, but the true education came from the difficult lessons life taught him on his own.

From an early age, Hana was raised in an okiya, a geisha house where she was a student of beauty and discipline. Guided by her okāsan, or “mother”, she mastered the traditional arts: the soft strum of the shamisen, the flowing movements of dance, and the delicate art of grace itself. Yet, for all her artistic mastery, her busy life was a solitary one; she had little opportunity for friendship and often felt lonely.

where to find this short film concept? it’s available on Instagram; @bruxtia and @bruxtiaproductions in the Reels tab! you can also find exclusive still images for this project on the main page of this website. 🩵🩷
