You're sending hundreds of CVs, but are getting no interviews: what now?

Sweden relies heavily on professional networks and communities. This means that having a recommendation for a certain job opening will dramatically increase your chances of getting in for an interview. Make sure you identify the key companies, people, and recruiters in the industry you wish to work in, and start becoming visible. Check out the links below for tips on how to do that.

How do I start networking?

First of all, identify networking events that are relevant to you. You can find many of them online (LinkedIn, Eventbrite, Meetup, events newsletters, company websites, etc.), and they provide a good opportunity to meet those who might potentially become your colleagues further down the line. Be aware that networking does not mean that you will get a job offer on the spot! It consists in building up your network of professional contacts in order to make it easier and more likely to be considered when applying for a position. For more info, check out the networking guide linked down below!

How do I get a job at Incluso?

Register your CV on the Incluso career page or apply to the relevant job openings as early as possible. You will be contacted by a recruiter if your profile matches the job requirements.

Incluso is a Swedish recruitment and consulting company that focuses on local and international talent with niche skills within IT, finance, HR, marketing, mechanics, retail, manufacturing, etc. Check out the website https://www.incluso.se/en/ for more details.

Do I need to know Swedish to get a job in Sweden?

Short answer: Yes. While some job postings may say that “knowledge of Swedish is a merit,” being able to communicate in Swedish is usually essential. In most workplaces, daily interaction happens in Swedish, and employers tend to prefer candidates who can speak the language. With many applicants already fluent or proficient in Swedish, language skills often make the difference, even when other qualifications are equal.
