Eonah

나연 (Eonah, b. 1992) 1992년 서울에서 태어난 이오나는 남아프리카공화국 요하네스버그와 태국 푸켓에서 유년 시절을 보냈으며, 미국 로스앤젤레스의 FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising)에서 패션디자인을 전공했다. 아시아와 동남아시아, 아프리카, 미주 등 다양한 대륙을 오가며 체득한 문화적 경험과 특유의 정서는 현재 그가 구축해 나가는 작품 세계의 깊은 근간을 이룬다. 작가는 내면에서 발현되는 다채로운 감정의 흐름을 '색(Color)'이라는 매개를 통해 시각화하는 작업에 매진하고 있다. 주로 반려견과 자연에서 깊은 영감을 얻으며, 사소하고 개인적인 일상의 단상들을 때로는 글과 그림일기의 형태로, 때로는 잠에서 깨어난 뒤 잔상으로 남은 꿈의 파편들을 통해 새로운 예술적 언어로 풀어내고 있다.
