4:25p - Permissions and Pages
OK, so thanks to fnordelissa, I have been made aware of a permissions problem that took some digging to fix, but everyone should be able to post now. Go to the "For more options, click here" link on your update page, and under "Journal to Post in:" you should see Lovesbooks as an option. Like this.
(and yes, I do belong to a lot of communities)
If not, please leave a comment and I'll see what's up (everyone should be able to do that).
As for reading Daughter of the Forest, I propose we plan to all be done one month from now, making our finish Date October 15th. Melissa has suggested that we also choose stopping points along the way for discussion, and this is certainly a topic up for discussion. Feel free to leave your inputs and ideas here. And post in this journal!

4:40p - all hail the moderator
Thank you, oh great robini!
anyhow, so I was proposing that we take a look in the book and come up with a few points at which we will do the following:
first person to reach that point, post to lovesbooks ("I'm done with chapter 2").
then everyone, as they reach the same point, comment on the post to that effect ("I'm done with chapter 2 too").
when everyone has gotten that far, we discuss a little of what's been going on so far.
anyhow, this is just an idea. it might gum up the works more, and people like Brian wouldn't want to wait for everyone to catch up, and so would read ahead... but I'm guessing we would be able to agree to only discuss that which we've read up to that point, regardless of who may have read ahead how far.
(not to pick on Brian, but he really does read impressively fast!)
and, october 15th is fine with me as an end date.
