Ordovisium

Ordovisium adolah pariode jo sistem geologi, pariode kaduo dari anam pariode Era Paleozoikum, jo pariode kaduo dari duo baleh pariode Eon Fanerozoikum. Ordovisium mancakuik 43,75 juta tahun dari akhia Pariode Kambrium 486,85 Ma (juta tahun nan lampau) hinggo awal Pariode Silurium.^[1]

Ordovisium, nan dinamoi manuruik suku Ordovices di Wales, didefinisian dek Charles Lapworth pado tahun 1879 untuak manyalasaian pasalisiahan antaro pangikuik Adam Sedgwick jo Roderick Murchison, nan manampekan lapisan batuan nan samo di Wales Utara dalam sistem Kambrium jo Silurium.^[2]
