COLD!
Alan (I think that's his name - I'm not to good with names) needs to have a gig that's not in freakish weather!
So my mom works with this woman whose brother is a sound guy. He tells his sister who in turn tells my mom when he's going to set up for a band. It's cool I get to watch him set everything up and he'll explain things to me.
The last time I met up with him was in August and it was like 100+ degrees. Today wasn't much better - the sun went down and all of a sudden it was like 0- degrees.
It took me hours to warm up when I got home. XP
I also realized yesterday why I've been wanting to play classical music on the piano lately. It takes me longer to learn. Yesterday I decided to sit at my piano and learn a song (that I won't name because it's a surprise and I intend to keep it that way *determined*)
I finished it in like an hour. Not even just half the song like I used to - the whole damn song.
Today I changed it up a bit so it sounds better.
And I'm done with that too.
I mean, this kind of music holds my short attention span longer than classical music, but I also love classical music... *shrug*
I don't know.
I do know I want to challenge myself more. I played the song I learned for my parents and my dad was like, "Ya know, you might be better at that than you are at viola".
I don't know.
Hopefully tomorrow I'll dye
missykitty0115's hair purple.
AND IT WILL STAY, I say!
Oh - does anyone know what songs are recognizable from Final Fantasy to people who play it? I mean, I know the sound tracks to VII and VIII but I don't know what people who play the game recognize.
